Haven't seen enough actual gameplay to comment but I hope especially the side missions can be improved a lot. ***** It wasn't out of character, he was indoctrinated, and like Saren in the first game, the only way for him to escape was to kill himself (which he does if you have 100% Paragon or Renegade). All Illusive Man wanted was to protect humanity (albeit at all costs), and while indoctrinated, all he was doing was pushing it closer to extinction, so he had to kill himself to break the Reapers hold on him.

If The Suicide Mission was like ME3's "The Fleet's Arrive" cinematic,the Normady would just fly through the Omega 4-Relay shoot 2-3 drones in a 3 second action sequence and than land on the base.
