Back in the ME2 era, I thought bringing Legion was just god-tier trolling. But after seeing the INCREDIBLY stupid decision the quarians make to start a war for Rannoch during the Reaper invasion in 3, I think it's actually best if you bring him. They still make the same asinine move, obviously, but they make it knowing geth aren't axe-crazy and some (most actually) are willing to be coexist - even ally - with organics. They've no one to blame but themselves for what happens. One of my biggest gripes with 3 (obv ending aside) is that the warmongering admirals didn't get what they had coming to them. Every admiral that voted for war should pay with their life. Starting a war for personal gain in the middle of the Reaper invasion is a sin that cannot be forgiven.

+MacDofGlasgow So many things were sacrificed and removed from ME 3. EA only gave them two years to make the game. ME 2 and ME 3 both took three years to make. A whole year removed from development time is devastating. Kept what they cared most about and what they felt were most important to the story in the game. But to make up for lost time they clearly had to cut things out and change things.

Male shep does a better job of sounding like a person who pissed off but keeping it barley beneath the surface, femshep wears it too much on the sleeve. For me a N7 keeps it barely under the surface.

Indeed. Because unlocking that option requires you to piece up the real reason of Tali's trial, and saving Kal'Reegar and Veetor. The boatloads of Paragon/Renegade help too. If you don't have enough Paragon/Renegade to Charm/Intimidate the board, then Rally is your next best bet.

This is hands down one of the best scenes in the entire trilogy. The writing,the atmosphere,music,and voice acting are top-notch. Especially the atmosphere and the vibe the scene leaves. Plus,the amount of outcomes and different things you can here is quite large so I can't complain about that either. Overall,kudos to BW for Tali's Trial.

I'd like to think that the dialog between the two at the end of this mission shows Tali's true feelings towards the Commander, as if the success of the trial because of Shepard's aid had sparked a fire in her heart. It not only confirms what Kelly says about Tali wanting to be "more than just friends", it also convinces me to romance her for the 10th time playing this game. You heard it first, from a Tali-mancer. (Sorry for wasting your time. xD)

The charm/intimidate choices declare tali innocent and you gain her loyalty. Rallying the crowd does the same only if you talked to the admirals before the alarei mission and if veetor and kal'reegar are present. Withholding the evidence causes Tali to be exiled, but gains her loyalty. Presenting the evidence prevents Tali's exile, but does not secure her loyalty. If Tali is exiled, you are unable to reunite the Quarians and Geth in ME3.

As much as I'm a paragon through and through, (fuck the morality system I always save edit my rep so no option is grayed out) I always go with the renegade pick here. After having seen every possible ending for this trial, I really think it should be a lot harder to earn the renegade/paragon options. They are essentially the consequence-free bypass-moral dilemma button. In fact, there should be no dialogue options at all that depend on the morality bar. They just make everything too damn easy. Keep the interrupts though, they're fun.

on my first playtrough, i didnt have enough paragon nor renegade points, i played in a way, what would i do in real life, but lucky me, I didnt give veetor to cerberus and i saved reegar and i speaked to them before the trial, my heart stopped when i first saw paragon and renegade options blacked, but then i looked and saw the "rally the crowd" and i thought to myself, ok, guess i don't have other choice :D and thank god it worked

Depending on the dialogue and action choices you make you gain points. The points have their own bars so filling one up doesn't affect the other. You can get bonuses that boost the bars.

Strange, For the paragon speech in my play. Shepard just said the same about the Intro, but then ends it with him being her captain, and he trusts her. Afterwards one of them points out how the only bit of evidence is simply trust, Afterwards Shepard reinforces it again with how she fought by his side and can count on her anytime. I'm going to guess that the reason he explains it like that was possibly because I didn't interact with any of the admirals and just went straight for the shuttle,

When I first did this it was a hassle, I made Victor crazy so couldnt rally the crowd and not enough paragon, so I then I lose my data cause I saved on the cloud so I had to replay Mass Effect 1. 2nd try failed and 3rd times a charm.
