Mass Effect Andromeda - How to Fix Dialogue [NUM] After Today's Patch

It's breaking my immersion and I'm sure I'm not the only one. To get rid of [NUM] before every dialogue option, reset your key bindings to default (important!), and then unbind those keys. Hope it helps :)

You're welcome! I've been CALIBRATING it for a while to find a solution, but without resetting key bindings, you just get normal numbers without NUM before dialogue options, but it doesn't fix it.

Don't worry, it shouldn't inturrept your playthrough in the ARCHANGEL nomad. Now that they have REACHed the end of their time, your mouse can be more FLEXIBLE... i'll leave, I'm sorry.

I haven´t noticed any change visually and before the update it was buggy but it was playable, now galaxy map doesn´t work its a blurry mess of colors without any planets/stars etc, enemies spawn in stacks in one another and dont move so you just point your gun and shoot, my milky way research points vanished and instead like 4k i hade there was COMPILED written there which allowed me to research everything because i dont know, i started playtrough 2 i got to the Tempest for the first time went to talk to Liam and the cutscene where Jaal and him are naked played...I shouldn´t even know that Jaal exists at that point, Since i play on Insanity my crew dies...a lot, Cora died and stayed dead can´t res her, reloading save doesn´t help she´s just dead, leaving planet and entering Tempest caused me having Liam following me while having Liam as ship NPC and dead Cora onboard + her living ship clone, whenever cutscene played where Cora was supposed to say something black screen appeared and just the subtitles, the promised to be removed weird running bug still happens, My twin sister speaks with Scotts voice. And last thing was in multiplayer, could have been a hacker but this was happening for 5 games with different people so i doubt it, whole team had zero cooldowns on abilities. Apart from the running bug none of this shit happened to me before patch 1.05 with 102 hours on SP and 16h on MP. It´s a damn good game, but it´s so god damn unfinished i feel like playing Dead Island when it came out back in 2011.... I think they should have just delayed the release by whatever time they needed to make it finished, in it´s current state i feel like I´m testing a beta version at best, and believe me I´ve tested quite a number of games. Andromeda will for me never be better than ME1 but it has a potential to surpass ME2 and 3 and possibly make a new damn awesome trilogy, but they need to get their shit together, I´m not working in gaming industry, i ´m a nuclear energetics guy so i can´t claim i´d do a better job, but i know a game that is unfinished or didnt have as much effort put into it when i see one. Sorry for the longass text, but i felt the need to write this. Have a nice day fellow gamers.

So, the one person who disliked this video was just bored, I guess? @FluffyNinjaLlama Very helpful, thanks! Great game, btw. I'm on a planet called Elaaden (Krogan's "paradise") admiring the sinkhole. Andromeda has its quirks, but I really like it in general. Though it rarely gets very deep, excluding unnerving depth of some vaults, it's not very difficult to find an adventure there. Happy trails!

There's a faster way. Instead of resetting everything to default and manually rebinding everything later (a major headache for me) you can also delete some lines from the save folders co-save file and then unbind the dialogue wheel bindings with X. Back in the trilogy, whenever a conversation is engaged, the mouse is locked to the dialogue wheel, all you had to do is move the mouse around, and the wheel itself is placed neatly in the space beneath the subs, so no popping up and and down needed. Makes me question the design choices in MEA, but then again they did swap out Preston Watamaniuk, the lead designer...

Getting rid of the [num1] thing gets rid of the possibility to choose it by pressing 1! I'd rather have my dialogue looking bad than have to move my mouse around.
