@Adriano Andrade You completely missed her entire character arc then. In ME1 she's exactly as you say. She has little to no understanding of social relationships and they did a great job portraying that. Not for everyone, I guess. In ME2 she was blinded by both rage and guilt over what happened to the Drell, and even in part with what happens with Shepherd. She won't let herself slow down because she realizes that means she has to confront feelings she'd literally put aside for 2+ years. This is a large point of contention in the Shadow Broker DLC. In ME3 she's had time to accept and move on from what had happened. She's somewhere in the middle personality wise between how she acted in ME1/2, and she comments multiple times that she 'isn't sure' about their relationship showing that she understands the strain the time apart had between 1 and 2 and how she gave in so hard to her rage and guilt. Liara had an incredible 3 game arc, and I feel it ended exactly as it should have. She became the person she was hinted at being throughout 1. Obviously it's all subjective and what not, but ME3 Liara is easily the best of both worlds and 100% NOT a regression.

#1 problem about people hating on this game is the fact that it gets compared to all 3 of the previous mass effects. It's got a really good foundation for a sequel. If they could get rid of some of the bad-corny dialogue in the next game and flesh out the narrative, it would be solid.

Didn't know the story, but from the clips I watched they kind of butchered each alien culture. for example Vitra if remember, doesn't sounds like a Turian. not in her voice but in her words, something about it is missing Turian's touch.

Actually...Peebee and Liara are roughly the same age (Liara is 106-108 over the course of the first three games, and when quizzed on her age, Peebee says she's "one hundred and some change"-- no exact number was given). In any case, both are young for asari (though Peebee seems a bit more worldly and experienced than Liara was initially).

I just bought this game a few days ago, fully expecting the game to be awful(I have money to waste these days and I wanted to make a ridiculous clown character). I'm several hours into the game, and so far, I actually really like it. The combat is fun, the music is cool, the graphics and effects look great, and the exploration is very reminiscent of DA: Inquisition in the environments and scale. It's not without its issues, though. Some of the characters are extremely ugly, the facial animations are robotic at best, and the AI isn't the smartest. But, that's really it so far. I will say that Peebee looks a lot better throughout the game than she does when you first meet her with her man face. I used to dogpile on the game like everyone else does, but now that I have actually played it for myself, I'd give it a 7/10. It's rough around the edges, but it's still super fun. Also, there's an immersion problem I have with the game where you meet an entirely new race of aliens native to Andromeda who can speak perfect English. I was very taken out of when I met them in game, but they do mention in passing that they're using translators. Which is fine, I guess. But the language the aliens use should be completed uncatalogued, making communication through speech pretty much impossible until the explorers had been in Andromeda for generations at least.

The Angara don't speak perfect English. They're literally shown speaking Shelesh when Ryder and Co arrive at Aya. It isn't until Ryder walks out of the ship and speaks to Paaran Shie that the language switches to English. Or do you not know how translators work?

When you're in the nomad, Drack asks Peebee if her father was a krogan and she responds, no, he was actually an elcor. She *could* be lying about that for all we know though. I don't think the timing would work right either considering the arks left in 2185, aka during the events of ME2. Unless Peebee woke up 100 years early or something, which I suppose is *technically* possible... though then the question becomes why did Shep/Liara give an unaccompanied baby away?

Well, when she said "This is where I belong" I heard something similar to when Jack in ME3 talks about why she gives Shepard a tattoo (if you romanced her, i.e. she's afraid if you're dead during the fight with the Reapers she might never know, so she puts a marker on your body where you're least likely to be injured directly so she can at least identify your corpse)... something close to a voice crack. This could imply Peebee was orphaned, for example, or as Liara/Shepards child perhaps something tragic happened after stasis, that she never became reunited with those two. Or at least Liara, who has a 1k-year long lifespan whereas Shepard might be dead, to say the grim.

I must correct you there, in ME1, Liara says she isn't even 100 years old and because ME3 is placed 3 years after ME1 (2 years between ME1 and ME2 because Shepard was 2 years dead and then placed in "Quarantine" for some time by the alliance between ME2 and ME3), there is no way Liara would be 200 in ME3, she is still around 100 years old.

@@faefindingawilltolive Which Bioware mocked with an easter egg in the Bring Down The Sky DLC. Beside Dragon Age Inquistition was released two years after ME3 and that had nudity in it, which means ME3 should have had an additional 2 years worth of dev time.
