Actually there are no visual upgrades at all. (except 4k retexture) So EA finally decided to officially integrate ALOT into ME1 for 60$ + free ME2 and ME3? Thanks, no. I'd rather play the old trilogy bought in origin store than this.

Yeah, AAA games are dead. It seems almost no large studio is capable of producing intelligent games with depth anymore. Rockstar still has a good record, but let's wait and see their next game... It's not natural fog as in "fog rolled in", think of it more like an atmospheric effect that makes areas look cinematic and to give them more "depth". @@Dynasty1818 honestly mass effect 3's endings was blown out or proportion I think. The free extended cut DLC made it better, the ending isn't perfect but I see Mass effect's ending as one ending, the other options didn't matter to me and when you think of it as the one and only perfect ending I think it fits well. The ending I'm speaking of is destroying the reapers for once and for all. Shepard from the beginning has always talked about how they needed to be stopped and the other options just try to attract you to the wrong imperfect endings. There is a reason why only one ending you hear Shepard's voice at the end.

I think with mods or patch legendary edition will be looking perfect. I like shadows in the original more. Lightning coming from screens on Normandy look great. Making Normandy more darker with those orange light make it feels so worm, almost like home. Light on Citadel look okay. Snow level was better. Thane skin looks phenomenal.

I was never bothered by that, would I have liked a much more complex and additive possibilities in the ending sure... but that seemed like a daunting task. instead each side character has an ending, a significant one, while the main ending just gives shepherd and the reapers a conclusion. It did feel like each side character had a much more significant ending possibility but that was just me. I loved the series.

For real, why do some people expect ME:A graphics from the Legendary Edition, this is not the Frostbite Engine. It's a remaster of an RPG TRILOGY, games that last at least 30+ hours each if you're planning on doing everything plus almost all of the DLC combined, development on this game started in 2019 and BioWare used Unreal Engine 3 (Unreal Engine 5 is coming out this year, UE3 is pretty old) and it looks REALLY good for what it is. It's not a remake, it's not a reimagining, it's not a lazy reskin, other developers take twice the time to release a remaster of ONE game that lasts 15 hours and BioWare made a remaster of THREE games in less than 2 years while BioWare's studios where working on the next Mass Effect, Dragon Age 4 and Anthem at the same time. How some of you are disappointed and want more is beyond me.

Frostbite is cancer for RPGs anyway. Its fine for shooters but the models and animations in DA:I and ME:A were awful. Even sports games like Madden have turned into a wonky mess with Frostbite.

I feel like she probably has the most fleshed out backstory of any side character followed closely by Tali who is probably my favorite It’s funny because I played the first Mass Effect when I was 10 years old and I was all about Ashley but revisiting the series by watching my sister play it a few years ago I realized I REALLY don’t like her lol. Maybe it has something to do w/ my political views moving further to the left when I got older or maybe it’s just me being able to recognize a phony bitch now 🤷🏾‍♂️

The lighting is definitely the biggest change but like 90% of the time it's for the worse. It makes the tone entirely different and often looks less realistic. Really hoping they allow to change some of the lighting effects in options
