Hi Tina, I loved your story about the little tree. I definitely think you did the right thing. It brought tears to my eyes as well. We have a tradition, if you want to call it that. It’s not quite the same thing but it makes you feel good just the same. I live on a large lake in Pennsylvania in the US and it is somewhat of a vacation area. We paint small rocks and put the Facebook page name on the back of it and leave them anywhere around town. When you find one, you can keep it and it is suggested that you paint one then leave it somewhere. But you don’t have to, you can just keep it or “re hide” it and not leave another rock. But it is fun to go on Facebook and see the rock that you have painted and who found it, as people post a picture of them with the rock. It is really fun and the rocks end up all over the US as people who vacation here take them home. I happened to find a rock that was snoopy painted as a US Marine. My son is a US Marine and was in Afghanistan and now suffers from PTSD and I think I was meant to find that rock just as you and your son and you were meant to find the little tree. Ok, I’m filling up again. As you say, enough “waffling”. But it is fun. These pockets are really cute. Have a very Happy Christmas!!

Marilou Sharp oh it’s so frustrating!!!I hate it!I feel like I waste so much time that I could be actually making things!I do enjoy what I do,but wish I could make stuff as well!!!It makes me angry at myself when I think about others that would go in my craft room and have a blast making all kinds of stuff!Im fortunate enough to have all I have,so then I start feeling bad bc I’m not using it!UGH!I did make 3 fabric flowers today!Lol!But I got distracted with printing out Etsy digitals and then labeling folders for each seller!!!!Then I went through an old album I found that had really old news paper clippings that were falling apart,so I mod posted them on parchment paper to preserve them!!!!Haha!Which is good, but then I’ll cut them out or peel them off(if it works) and just add them to my ever growing stash of stuff!!!!But no creating!!!!!!GRRRRRR! I wish I knew why we do this!!!!So irritating!!! But yes, nice to know I’m not alone!haha!

@@livingsoulandspirit I am soooo the same way, but a little different. I buy, organize, watch videos etc., and when I really want to be in my craft room life happens. My Dad passed away 3 months ago and my Mom is legally blind and can't do much of anything without me. Then, a month ago she was admitted to hospital for ischemic colitis and also had a heart attack. Needless to say, I was at the hospital from 8am to about 7pm everyday, and by the time I got home I was completely wiped out. So now, she has been home for a week and I am over there every day for one thing or another. Before my Dad passed he was in and out of hospital constantly and same thing, at hospital from morning to evening and I never got anything done. So today, I am in a full blown MS Relapse and I am having a very difficult time getting enough energy to go downstairs and I started a few projects (a while back) and I really want to get them done for my family, plus going to Mom's again today to make up her meds for the week. So it's not for lack of trying, but "life" just takes precedence over Crafting. And that's OK!

All of my parents, step-parents, husband, son, both brothers and a sister have all passed on way too early in their lives. My only child is grown and has moved away. Christmas videos are appropriate for those of us who do arts and crafts as life lines. Even though I bought both of your Christmas kits I was not able to use them because of the lack of festive feelings. Thanks for asking.
