29:47 Being totally honest here: Coming from a Novus Ordo background, being told I’m obligated to sing-to “actively participate”-still just has a sour taste from the ways we were coerced to “actively participate” in the Novus Ordo. Trying to reconnect with Tradition, I admit that I definitely have a little bit of a reactionary reaction with something like this. Mind you, I sing at Mass, but, unless I’m uniquely reactionary, this might be one reason people don’t sing at the Traditional Roman Mass. UPDATE 36:38 Ah, yeah, you’re getting to the same idea here, except in our generations it’s about Novus Ordo vs. Traditional Catholic liturgy instead.

There is an incorrect translation of Pope Saint Pius X and what he said about singing. He was speaking of the schola/choir, not the parishioner. There was a word added to the Italian text, which isn't in the Latin.

The NO mass has lots of singing but not anything to do with the mass .

I have a very interesting comment, the sspx does the 1962 holy week the question is is it the authentic Latin mass as they claim it to be, St Pius the 10th would never have celebrated the 1962 for very good reason it is not as authentic as sspx claim it to be, the modernist heretic Annibale Bugnini was the one who was responsible for the 1962, St Pius the 10th would never have used it, archbishop Lefebvre was forced to use the 1962 by the Vatican instead of standing his ground against modernism and using mass St Pius the X celebrated but he didn't he gave in to the Vatican pressure
