Mi-17 Hip. IIRC, the USMC acquired a few of these along with Mi-24 Hinds for immersion in OPFOR training.

They both have the same training pipelines and doctrine. The only real differences lie in the types of aircraft used by each service. (Some are used by both)

The Marines are, why? Becuase they get the hand me downs and they love it. The brits retired the harriers much to early in my opinion!
