I very much appreciate your use of medical terminology so I can follow along as a blind massage therapis. Too many content makers use general terns such as here and there, forgetting the blind can’t see what they are referring to. So thank you

Wow, I never would have thought of helping in that way. Glad the video was useful to you, I'll consider my next video to be more detailed in direction of techniques!

This was an incredible demonstration. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and explaining thoroughly. I cannot wait to try some of these things on my clients. 🙏🏻 Also, I need a fellow massage therapist to do this on me lol

This is such a great flow on everything! I will be taking tips from this...I am currently in massage school, second quarter...that knuckle rolling on the palm of the hand...definitely using that!

Late seeing this, but glad you liked it! How did the knuckle roll go? My students hate it at first, pretty difficult technique to coordinate at first try.

I hope you don't mind me asking. I hear you use the term "filibuster technique" in a few of your videos .. what does it mean?
@bodyworksbyrob58364 ай бұрын
A good question! While I might not use the term to its true definition, filibuster is where you keep your speech going to fill up time. So, the way I use it is to just keep massage techniques going so that there is no pause to the flow of the massage. So think, just placing techniques curbing places of your transitions and lulls.

What's the better way to start a massage, prone or supine? Also, is it better to start from the feet upward or the opposite direction?
@bodyworksbyrob583610 ай бұрын
Very good questions! Unfortunately, there's no straightforward answer. On the topic of starting prone vs. Supine it would depend on several factors like the clients' areas of focus and how I want to implement my massage. On the topic of direction from either head to toe or toe to head depends still on focus, but also consider that more often than not clients feel a certain type of way if you work their feet then work other parts of the body, especially near the head! Lol I will consider making a video with these considerations in it.
