Wow! I am dumbfounded! I've never seen anyone work on the subscap that way, not even in school! I will definitely be incorporating this into my routine!!! Thank you for sharing! You ROCK!!!

You are by far the best therapist I've seen online. I live in Palm Beach Florida and cannot find someone as knowledgeable as you seem to be with anatomy. I suffer from a bad case of rotator cuff pain and wish I could show someone in my area your videos so they know the proper way to treat this disorder.

Thank you so much! I will look into them. I so appreciate your helpful answer. I suffered a three inch full thickness tear after a severe fall on my left rotator cuff six years ago, and it was a long road back to normal. Luckily, I had a great surgeon and a great PT. I have zero trouble on that side now, which is a miracle considering the condition it was in. My right rc began to hurt last year (no injury) and I don't know if it's because I favored it for so long while my left one healed. All four muscle groups hurt and I am worried about one day having to endure surgery again. I've had massages for this problem, but whilst it feels good I don't really feel any resolution. Watching your videos is so insightful how to properly treat this disorder.

Jo Anna did you ever reach anyone in Palm Beach county that knows how to massage the subscapula correctly? I'm in the same area and in pain. Thank you, Jan

As a tall woman who's always had large upper arms, I love your "guns" -- it's what they do that matters, not how they look (my body mantra).

What kind of pain do you see clients reporting when this muscle is involved?
@Nothing2CHere4U6 жыл бұрын
I guess a year is a long time to wait for an answer, but just understand that it would be on a client to client basis, and the treatment of the therapist. In other words, a good relationship with your therapist would mitigate any unnecessary pain, but also allow for acceptable discomfort as ROM is restored. It's not a comfortable place, and often elicits a sense of vulnerability, but given time and patience, it can be incredibly liberating. I hope this helps. I'm on my way out to a client right now who will need this treatment, and I stopped by here to brush up on technique.
