I still got that old Crate Diggin dvd where all the OGs are gettin interviewed, just thinkin’ about Evil D workin up a sweat gettin heated when reminiscing back to the Roosevelt record show days and how dealers at certain booths wouldn’t let anyone dig through their crates until Prince P from PM Dawn would get there since they had their little 15 minutes in the sun back in those days. 🤣😂🤣 You gotta imagine Tip, Pete Rock, Diamond D, Buckwild, Premo etc all having to wait for Prince P’s clown ass to get to the hotel and dig after they all specifically got to the show early to get first dibs hahaahaa

@WillPhalenMusic Жыл бұрын
@@bs-calrissian2023 you got it! Pretty slick track. And I think the second sample is from a song called "Give My Love to Marie". The album is full of solid mid 70s country rock + folk stuff if you're into that kind of thing. Gene Clark was an outstanding songwriter. I love what these guys do with the samples -- flipping them into something completely different than the originals. That's what it's all about!
