I think it takes mad talent no matter how you do it. There's more options with software, and it makes some things easier, but at the end of the day what makes a beat really bad is the attitude and inspiration of the producer who is cookin it up, and the rappers and DJs who spit and scratch on the beat to make it really shine to the fullest!! peace

Puffy owes him for life. He jump started Bad Boy records. He probably only paid him like 5g's and no publishing for his contributions to Bad Boy. He should be paid to this day. But I'm sure he's not. 100% agree. I think he still gets royalties off of "Flavor In Ya Ear" because the sample has never been revealed.I also watched an interview where Mo Bee said he screamed at Puff for not paying him, and that was the end of their relationship. @@MrML4Lsound wise it’s not limited. Its a sampler so you can basically use any sound you can find (within 20 seconds of sampling time on the new Rossum). Feature wise it is limited but that adds to the fun of it. Makes you more creative

Wow I never knew who actually produced a lot of those Biggie & Pac records this is so dope to see! Especially because he still has a Boom Bap style / workflow with the SP1200 & using actual vinyls! Love this episode even though it's super short 💯🎶🔊
