The lateral pterygoid release is the most amazing, relaxing feeling...when I remove the pressure it's like a melting sensation on the sides of my face and my jaw feels so relaxed. For about 10 min, but I imagine this duration will extend over time. Thank you so much!!

The lateral pterygoid release sometimes sets off my tinnitus immediately after doing it. Maybe i'm applying to much pressure or accidentally pressing into something around that area i'm not supposed to? I might be reaching to high up and prodding places I shouldn't be. Is there anything back there in the mouth thats dangerous to touch / messes with the auditory system? Thanks

Tinnitus is the joker in the deck. I never know when it’s going to pop up or if it will respond to treatment. If this worsens your symptoms in any way, I’d recommend not doing it.
