I missed a root canal by the skin my of my teeth. Thank God I was referred to root canal specialists who took my concerns seriously and said they weren't convinced it was the tooth. 10/10 pain though. Had to go on painkillers for the first time in my life. Warm salt water constantly helped.

Ma’am thankyou thankyou very much for the videos you make. They are probably the only ones on KZbin about a lot of details of tmjd. Here in India, there are only 2 or 3 docs for tmj in the capital city, and this being so unheard of, it’s difficult to know if we are being treated right. Your videos are a guide, they help me, assure me and let me rest peacefully. Keep making them. Wish you all the good things. You are the rainbow in the rain for me 🌈🙏🏻

Ouch! There I said it. I've been for chiro tx'ts for 50 years and swear by it, but not for the jaw, I agree with you, doc. I also think that gentle approaches can be effective. My own chiro would not do manual manipulations for my TMJD but used the activator instead. Unless the chiro has taken x-rays, I think those manual adjustments could be disastrous for someone who has osteoarthritis in the jaw ie. Yikes. Thank you for your educational videos doc!

Hi Dr Mistry, I have a slight tongue tie. I dont breath through my mouth, my tongue rests on my upper jaw. But my frenulumI is tight, and forward to the front end of my tounge. I did have braces and had to get two upper molers removed to bring my teeth back. I landed on your page because i was looking into tongue tie release reviews. I do snore, I have not gotten a sleep study. I also grind my teeth at night. But i am wondering if i would benefit from seeing a tmj doctor (I live in Canada, Ontario) or if i should get a tongue tie release procedure. I dont know which one would help my snoring. Please help!
