Massey 65 Alternator Conversion

At 8:19 regarding the Alternator light- correct wiring is as follows. Interrupt the exciter wire one between the alternator and diode. Buy a 194 bulb with red case. This special bulb lights only with power on one side nothing (no ground) on the other. So 3 states- 1. Ignition off 2. Ignition on motor not running- bulb gets power one side nothing on alternator side so light ON. 3. Motor running - Bulb gets power both wires so light goes out! Still need diode to shut engine off.
