Enjoyed that. I have a 3660 and have liked it. Started out at 15 running MF 165 and have liked them since.

Other than the US market this range was the 2000 range, I used to drive a 2620 on a neighbours farm, I felt like a king. Great machine, 6 cylinder Perkins. this was the pinnacle of MF, later in the 80's they struggled with R & D and mismanagement. With out the intervention form AGCO, MF would be in the history books. Under ACGO, MF are manufacturing exceptional tractors.

I had an older friend several years ago that run MF tractors for years and years. My dad and I run those old John Deeres because that is all we could afford.

They are showing a 135 HP tractor in most this video so why didn't they have a 2-135 white because it would have ruined there video it should of been a 4450 Deere to in video this video did not give the other manufactures a chance to compare tractor to tractor

Still have two of these tractor’s both pre electric control of hydraulics very few problems with the old girls can still give the newer one a run for the money

I know a former MF dealer who switched to JD franchise in the 80s. Like day and night. Said these J Deere’s are actually designed to be worked on and repaired with good service and repair Manuel’s and factory back up. Actually worth fixing as have good resale value. Deere was so far ahead. No contest.

Pure marketing bluster. But I must say the couple of times I operated my Dad's 3525 when visiting home it was pleasure to operate. With its MFWD and the electronic 3pt it could pull the plow better than the 2705 or 2745 he had when I was home. The AT6 in this generation ran much smoother.

Cześć. Piszę z Polski. Mam MF 2640. Widzę, że Wszyscy, biorący udział w dyskusji, mają dużą praktykę, więc pewnie ktoś z Was wie, czy wszystkie stare modele serii 2000 (w USA, odpowiednikiem jest seria 3000?), mają te same przeniesienie napędu? Precyzując pytanie: czy model 2625 i 2725, miały skrzynię biegów, przekładnię główną (dyferencjał) obraz zwolnice, o tej samej wytrzymałości?

Only issue is all there dam set screws in tranny if you take it apart and lock tight them all you would be ok in the last 2 months have worked on 3 of them from 50 hp to 135 HP and they all quit moving because shifting forks loosened up and the pto shaft and hub driving the FWA is not a good deal either !!
