Very nicely restored collection. I remember using one of those trailers ,it had the extension grain sides which dropped into the hollow posts. Eventually I think it was beyond easy repair and a Flatford body was fitted.

I take my Ferguson Crane apart to make it lighter and easier to fit and take off. Separate the two parts… slide out the piece with the hook attached.

Hello, I have the same trailer which my parents bought second hand about 40 years ago , it was red with yellow wheels when bought. It also came with the hay bale extension and racks /lades .On the brass plate it is marked as a Model 177 and serial no. V17159 . This might help you date yours .Nice collection of MF and Ferguson equipment , good to see them still in use , well done , all the best.

had one of those trailers until about 20 years ago when it was buried in a hole and the chasis became my electric fence earth post for the single wire round four miles of drystone walls

Mein Vater hatte einen MF 158. Ich habe den Traktor nie kennen gelernt. 1976 hat er den MF verkauft da er Getriebe Geräusche hatte. Der MF wurde gegen einem 640 Fiat eingetauscht. Ich weiß das MF Gründer der Regelhydraulik war, aber wer einen Deutz, Fendt, Schlüter, Eicher hatte, hat ab 1970 nie wieder einen MF gekauft. Die Zeit ist weiter gegangen, MF hat sich den Markt nicht angepasst . Der Kunde wollte Hydraulische Ventiele die unabhängig von der Regelhydraulik arbeiten. Für Frontlader, und Geräte die im Heck verwendet werden. Maschinen und Geräte die nicht nur für special MF genutzt werden könne. Sondern für alle Hersteller und Marken.

Hi, thanks for sharing your Ferguson tip trailer. I'm working on building a somewhat faithful copy of one, I have managed to track down some dimensions from old catalogues etc would greatly appreciate if you could give me dimensions of any of the following cheers! A) Chassis Rails (Channel Section) I assume they are about 180x50mm B) Outside distance between chassis rails where the axle is, guessing it's approximately 1200mm C) Deck Rails (Channel Section) that run the length of the deck, looks about 150x50mm D) Deck corner posts, looks about 50x50mm box and 50mm angle for the side frames Thanks again

I have a trailer quite like yours, it has no brakes , with it being vintage is it ok to use on the road loaded? like a ton pulled by a Land Rover discovery 1 ?, nice collecton! thanks

Nice tractor and attachments. Wondering what engine is in the tractor. 3 cylinder Perkins or the 4 cylinder Standard engine. And what year is it. ? I have a 1951 TEA20 Ferguson, surely not in as nice of shape as your tractor, but it works great. Nice video.
