Wow, I'm surprised you're not getting more love on this vid! You've used some great angles to show the work you're doing, you must have put a lot of time into it! I came across this when searching for vids on the GC1725M. How did you like it? Did you consider the Deere 1025R in your search, and if so, why Massey? Thanks!

Thank you! Yes I like the tractor. It does what I need it for. Probably should have gotten the backhoe, for digging the occasional hole or trench. At the time couldn’t see spending the extra money. When I could borrow or rent one. Considered the Deere but Tractor Tim has that search covered. Lol. Also, the Massey dealer is right down the road.

Nice tractor. I have the 1723EB did you use the float mode when back dragging the gravel?

Yes. When the gravel was in big piles it was not enough downward pressure. But for the final few passes it worked very well.

Do you use the 1725M to mow as well? And if so, how large is the area being mowed? I'm shopping between the GC 1725M and MF 1835M now and wondering if I can get away with a smaller unit.. the price jump for the FEL + attachments from 1725M to 1835M is huge..

I have zero turn for the lawn. Mow about 2 acres. If the zero turn dies I may buy the mower deck for the tractor instead. As that is way cheaper than a new mower. Mow time would go way up. But I would get to use the tractor more.

@@FIELDSROBERT ahh, I see. We've got about 11 acres to mow, so I'm thinking the 1835M will be the way to go.
