This rendition stirs me every time I listen. Horowitz is always superb, but his rendition is too sterile. This rendition is as I imagine it should be when I try to play it - an expression of the heart.

Recorded 1997 the sound could be better. I think the playing is excellent.

he playes well, but i hate it when he thinks so much of himself raising his head at the slow parts

technically alright, i guess. not my favourite interpretation. bit too loud and fast. wheres the goddamn feeling? i actually got bored of the constant barrage of noise he projects throughout most of it. just my opinion, as always.
