Hi Tim, Jen, and boys. What a really beautiful outside. The porch is really nice. The white trim highlights this home. Your right a longer and wider porch would be great. I’d want all hardwood. The layout is really nice. Love the size of master bedroom and bathroom. I’d use spare room in master as another closet/ storage. I absolutely love the kitchen. Everything is so beautiful. Room off the master bedroom, turn it into a library of sorts. Your own personal tv viewing area, a retreat. Nice!Really nice kitchen layout! Love the closet storage.

Floorplan at 2:22. Needs a deeper porch. I'd tack on a large pantry off of the laundry area. Great place to unload groceries then. Laundry sink needs a window and attached drainboard. Bathrooms need windows. I have the FP move to just the interior wall. I like to watch TV as I cook.

Great place. I agree with you on the porch, deeper and wider. Due to where they put the Coat Closet I'd have the front wall of the Living Room flipped...the entry door to the left so it would be near to the Coat Closet. I'd want a Basement so I'd delete Bedroom 3. L shaped stairs put in part of that would go to the Basement. Hard to explain but I think a Hlf bath could go in there too. Delete the existing door into Bath 3 and put the vanity and toilet on the other wall and a door from Bedroom 4 could go into it. The HVAC and WH would go to the Basement. I believe you could add the closet space and maybe a couple more feet from Bedroom 3 to the Utility Room and still have room for the Basement stairs and a Half Bath in the Bedroom 3 area. You'd have a nice space for doing laundry and not be in the pathway from the garage into the house...you could leave a basket on the floor or stand there folding clothes with no problem. That one area would be a coat, boot, shoe, and other area. I had a sink by my W and D and never had a need for it in the 41 years I have been in my house. Myself I'd delete that closet door in the Master Bath.

Yes, this house is a winner!!! Especially for a simple house that's not really over the top of a wow factor house. Talk about a house that have everything on my check list, a formal living room & a den/family room, 4 bedrooms, plus a garage! Yes, I love this one, but I would have to turn that retreat into my walk-in closet, because the primary closet is definitely not big enough....

That's a killer price for a mod, at over 2300 SQ ft. In SC a traditional double wide of that size would be a lot more expensive. Great layout, I would change some stuff, do you really need 2 doors to access a master closet.... the attached room would make great closet addition allied with a nursery. Overall it's a winner.

I love it !! Price is right on the money !! The garage, a wonderful addition. I would extend and make the porch wider as well. I love the kitchen very spacious. Main bedroom the bonus room I would turn into an office, very convenient. Shower and tub in main bathroom is nice. The two living rooms are of a nice size. Love the fireplace and built-in.. Nice size bedrooms. The laundry room is a nice size as well. This homes seems really relaxing. Thanks for sharing.

I love the bonus room off the master bedroom! I'm an artist and I would be excited to have a studio space!one that I could leave my work setup and not worry about it being in the way. Hey Timothy! Good video. Wow I like this place! There's enough room for nearly everything we need or want in our home. But some changes I'd make might not be allowed. But most are things that are options, I think. Let's start. #1) As we don't have kids, we don't need a living room and family room. So...I'd close off the living room and turn it into my Library Office Room. I'd put a gas or butane fireplace in there too. I'd also add a small sitting area with a rug/carpet. I'd keep the outside door as an extra exit door. #2) The retreat on the Master Bedroom I'd close off from the bedroom and put the door in the hallway. Then this room would be my Music Studio Room. It would have to be soundproofed of course. #3) The Master Bathroom I would need to replace the tub with a handicapped tub. I'd close off the door to the closet - the one in the bedroom is plenty. We'd need a bench in the shower. The commode area looked like it had enough space around it for my fat and handicapped body too. Liked the sink and counter space too. #4) The two guest bedrooms and bathroom would be turned into one big room and they would be the Gym. The other guest bedroom and bathroom would stay the same. #5) The utility room I would put in a pet shower where the sink and counter space is. And I would build a bigger pantry in the garage (you can't have too much space to store extra food supplies!) and put a chest and an upright freezer in there as well. Probably add a good sized storage unit in there too. I love the fact that the furnace and water heater and attic access are All in the utility room! I hate it when any of them are in the bedroom closets! #6) Love the gas fireplace in the family room (but as we would be out in the country we might have to go with butane fireplace)! This room is now our Living Room, of course! The sliding glass doors in the dining room will now be our front door, so we'd probably put in double doors with glass in them like some front door have. With a full screen on them, the doors could be opened onto your patio/porch whenever you wished! #7) In the kitchen, I'm glad there is a small pantry for things you use often, with the bigger one we'd build in the garage that would be fine. I think I'd cut the island down just a tad and, of course, but wheels on it. I would move the microwave over maybe on the other side of the refrigerator, if room. I'm short, and I just realized not long ago that I'd barely be able to see inside a microwave set above the cook stove like that! I'd put lazy Susan's in both the lower and the upper corner cabinets. I believe the cook stove was gas, but if not that's what we'd have, gas or butane. #8) We'd have carpet in the Living Room and Bedrooms only. And a carpet/rug in my small sitting area in my Library too. As I said, most everything I'd change are probably options you can change. But the adding and/or removing walks in a couple of my changes, might Not be allowed. Don't know. But this is what I'd do if allowed! Anyway, Timothy, I actually like this place. The changes I'd make would give us the perfect home we want - if those changes are allowed! Even without the changes though this is a very nice home! Thanks for showing it to us! I like everything except kitchen cabinets and the furniture. I know this is probably a cultural thing, furniture like that is not popular in Europe. I also hate the faucets. I think if you gave them away for free, no one would take them here. That being said, the house is awesome.

Why do so many of the closets in these homes have regular doors on them instead of the sliding bypass doors ? Especially when the rooms are a little smaller a swinging door takes up too much floor space and with the bypass doors you get easy access to both ends of the closet.
