The run counter probably works the same way online as on single player. It won't work automatic. I have a macro set on my mouse to reset it every run.

i used to do meph runs a lot, then i tried a WW barbarian at travincal. once you can have a decent arreat's face, an oath runeword (cheap one) in ethereal sword and a unique ring or amulet that absorbs fire, it's fast and efficient and it gives so much more unique items, jewels, charms, gems and RUNES. you don't need a merc (he will die anyway), you don't need to teleport, you just need to stack decent mf (ideally with double alibaba on switch) and "hork" those council members. it takes less time, you kill 10 mobs instead of a single meph and you furtermore double chances with "find item". Once you have a Lo rune and can make grief, it becomes even more efficient. Another advantage is that you make a ton of gold (if alibaba) so that you can gamble a lot of jewelry (or circlets). Overall much more rewarding for invested time

Afrer have played D2 LOD form many years..I don't know how you players keep going at it for so many times over and over..don't get me wrong the game is great..but after the same thing a million times this game got old quick..thumbs up to you all that still play D2..for 500+runs of the same map..

Uuhh hard to remember. Think I was like mid 70s. Just using spirit sword, lidless, 3 topaz helm. All very budget gear. As I found stuff and leveled up I put better gear on.

On my entire offline playthrough on D2r Bonehew is my single handed best unique ive found so far 100% perfect and ethereal im thinking of building a bear or wolf druid around it when a miracle happens an i find a Zod.

I remember meph being my main target 20 years back, never got a shako from him. Many fawcetts and an ohm rune, very good overall farming boss for blizz sorc and with that moat trick, most trivial as hell 😁 Enjoying the videos, brings me back 🖖

In less then 500 runs total since I play casually, I’ve gotten a Enough runes to trade for some BiS gear and I’m almost to my first enigma and HOTO. It’s all RNG my guy

Just thought i'd share, 2 shakos from meph within 20 runs of each other and one from Baal just before starting the runs. RNG is crazy sometimes. Players 0, 436% mf on the sorc for meph, the zon got one off baal with only the 25% on COH.

2 Players is not different to Players 1. The Chance that monsters drop nothing decreases on Players 3, 5 and 7.

I found griffons eye from pindle one week into the game. I did it during Baal runs on B net with a blizzard sorc. Just run and kill pindle, then go back into town and the throne portal has usually just come up.

It can be. I've found a few items from pindle but nothing above and beyond. I think the most notable is a vamp gaze.

would recommend pindle + nihlathak if playing online.. nihlathak can drop everything in the game and you can always know the way to him (halls of pain only has 3 possible maps so you can always know the way to teleport based on the position of the waypoint). pindle is a nice filler because nihlathak runs are too short

@@JacobLethbridge yeah nihlathak spawns cold immune far too often. blizzard would be very nice for nihlathak because it doesn't kill his minions (cold immune) but because he himself is cold immune so often it just sucks. personally I don't find nature's peace necessary, I just stand far enough away that he is just off-screen and I use lightning to shoot at the place where he spawns until he dies. works like a charm!

Im at around 1100 hours on sp. Ive yet to find a Zak shield,homunculus,high lords. Ive had the runes for exile for a hot minute but nowhere close to a feasible eth shield. Drop rates dont feal like rng to me when I find the same crap over and over and depending on the time of day it will be different crap over and over. Legit only find diadems in the evenings and unearthed wands drop in the 10am to 1pm range. found 3 verdungos all around the same times on different days. Occys always drop in the morning hours as well. And lacquered plates only drop at night. There allot of claims that a time seed has more impact than rng. I believe it now. Rng is not rng when stuff like this happens.

I only ever play like 7 PM-4 AM times and ive definitely found bits of everything. My grail is far from done but I see all of the bases on a regular basis. RNG can feel weird. I got 3 HRs in one evening playing and then I grinded hard for like 2 weeks and hit nothing higher than ist. I have enigma, cta, 2xhoto, infinity, anni, 4 torches, skillers, 20ish 7mfsc, 2 tal amu, tons of other stuff - 1 shako, no tal armor, no gores, no dungo, no dracs, NO NATURAL VEX DROP (Made both vex from guls). My buddy has found 2 tal arm in the last week and I cant ever find it.

Both zak and homo are in armour 54 which is PACKED. Arreats is in there to. Even if you farm nm, tc armour 54 needs to be selected, then your item needs to be picked, THEN a unique roll . Takes forever man.
