12:13 I looked it up for you- while hanzo’s headshot already one-shots most characters (and likely would have killed tracer anyway) it significantly increased his ult charge. without dmg boost, a 250dmg headshot normally gives ~11.9% on his ult, but with dmg boost it gave him ~15.5%. you gain 30% of this, so you got about 3-4% on your ult charge. in addition, dmg boosting a hanzo allows him to kill heroes like zarya, torb w/ overload, a hero with brigs pack or after kiri’s suzu, dealing 325dmg instead of 250dng default one shot. in this situation, that quick flick could mean the difference between another hanzo ult in a long team fight or building valk enough to survive. in other words, it does have impact to dmg boost one shots.

Thanks! How much is a body shot though? He got a body shot on Tracer. I know a damage boosted direct hit from Pharah used to (still does?) one shot Tracer, and I thought maybe the same was true about Hanzo's body shot.

oh it was a body shot I’m sorry! hanzo’s body shot is 125dmg w/o damage boost, 162.5dmg (tracer has 150 hp) so even dmg boosting a body shot 100% confirms the kill (BIG). unboosted, he gains 6% ult charge, you gain 1.8%. boosted, he gains 7.7% ult charge, you gain 2.3%.

I've been watching all of your videos and shorts, and I've been doing better as mercy. I always stuggle with damage boost. My healing was always 20k or more, and DM, the highest i used to get was 400, but thanks to you lately, I've gotten to 2k just watching the little details you do and your commentary 😊 thanks to your knowledgeable videos and struggles in competitive 😅 I started play comp again and went from gold5 to plat5 thank you 🙇🏻‍♀️🫶🏻🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🫶🏻
