It’s so funny, that one of the other fishing shows, caught a stingray,cleaned it just like you did, but did not batter it. They just seasoned it and fried it in a little oil. Then proclaimed it the worst tasting fish they had ever eaten. They literally spit it out into the trashcan. But you are also the second person I’ve seen who proclaimed it as “delicious “! It certainly looks delicious! Alaska is beautiful!

@@deermeatfordinner skate meat is very similar to halibut, a whole lot of different from the stingray meat which has much nitrogen in the skin, and if you don't cut off the wings right after you catch it, the nitrogen releases in the meat, and the taste is nasty!
