The bluegills are a dime a dozen, the catfish he caught though could be 1 in 1000 in the lake. The big one didn't get big because it didn't eat anything. Why watch fishing channels if you're that confused with the concept of fishing

Nice catch!! I had the same thing happen to me. I caught a 40lb tagged flathead twice in 3 years. Fish was 1/4 mile from where I last caught him. I agree, keep a couple dinks for Friday fish fry. let the big guy's go.

It's the right thing to do. This one was so big that a tsunami warning was posted for the area, and I got wet here in Central Kentucky when it was released. Lol. I could go on but I'll refrain.
