I live in Sheffield and avoid Meadowhall like the plague, a lot of us call it Meadowhell, it's been opened approx 30 years and I can count on 2 hands the times I've been there....give it miss and go to Nottingham love, nice bits from the chazza tfs Jax ❤x

To be honest Faye it all depends on what you're wanting from Meadow Hall, a lot of expensive/on the higher end shop and I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think there's even 1 charity shop, so for a bargain...... it's not the one. That Yankee Candle lantern is great, I bet it's so cosy when it's lit up, very Moroccan ❤ xx

I do like meadow hall but it's a bit all over the place if you know what I mean. Nottingham is Brill, loved shopping there, it's quite spread out, you'll love it. Some good eating places too. Enjoy the trip if you go. X

Yeah come to Nottingham, I’ll stalk you for a coffee. There is a few charity shops but not brilliant but you can get a bus to West Bridgford for posh charity shops if a tram to Beeston there is a few there xx

i am from sheffield born & bred and meadowhall yeah it's busy at times but it can be really good especially down the lanes my man loves it down there as he's a huge movie buff especially marvel and there's this marvel/anime/movie merch type shop called avalon that you might like to go to especially with big steve and the boys 😊💋

I’m in Nottingham Faye! There’s some banging charity shops. Get the bus into Sherwood, it only takes 5 mins from city centre and they are like every 10 mins, there’s a line of charity shops about 6/7 and they are all next to each other and reasonably priced so saves you dragging through the city centre for the others as they are expensive and dotted about everywhere x

I went to Nottingham last summer with my kids and it was really good, we did lots of charity shops, robin hood stuff and went to the cat cafe 😆 also there's a really good American sweet shop (my kids went wild in there as there was loads we haven't seen before) so yeah I'd deffo do Nottingham Faye, Medowhall is carnage... far too busy for me. Xx

Try boots mouth ulcer pastels.they are around a fiver ,but they will soothe & heal your mouth really quickly! Damn those bloody rice cakes! 😂❤

I live in rural lincs too, and we go to York, we went to Nottingham in June and it wasn't a patch on york, but it depends what you are looking for :) ... love your videos x

Personally Faye I would avoid Meadow Hall , it is always ram packed, you cannot stop to browse in windows lol because someone will always be behind you 😉 the place is sooo warm , every shop cranks up the heating in these months and it gets so hot in there , and lastly the food places are waaay overpriced and your like me you love a bargain , I stick to Heron , BM , HB and poundland 😂 im not sure if Meadow Hall has any of these but I doubt it , I like to be out in the open too when shopping , I would get too overwhelmed in Meadow Hall now 😢

I live near Sheffield, I avoid MeadowHell like the plague. I HATE it with a passion. The noise carries so I never fail to leave with a headache. The floors in there do something weird to my feet. Everyone I know says MeadowHell really kills their feet & back. It’s also expensive, sure it’s got a Poundland, but I don’t think there are charity shops in there. It’s more brand name shops. MeadowHell is so hated by one of our old neighbours, she moved to Brid. One day she opted for a mystery coach trip. She got on the bus and it took them to MeadowHell. So she got a bus back out to her old neighbourhood, and stayed with my mum catching up for the day, then I drove her back to get her coach back home...

I live near Meadowhall and I don’t like the place at all I’ve been a handful of times and that was years ago, I’m sure most love it but it’s not my kind of place, like you I prefer to be out in the open looking at the shops, love the lantern I bet it’s lovely when there’s a light in it, I never think of calling in to the charity shops but I think I need to cos looks like you can get some right bargains 😊

Meadowhell as we call it is good and has alot of good shops but its hot as hell, full of people that don't know how to walk (just suddenly stop and you about walk into them) and gives you feet ache x

I Faye I was born in Sheffield ! But moved when I was younger - I have been to Meadowhall and had a massif panic attack it was awful so never went back ! I prefer town centre s myself and charity shops etc like u X anyway have a great time where ever u go hun x

I’m in Sheffield and loathe meadowhell , yeah it’s good if you like that sort of thing but I hate it, it’s a horrible energy but then again most shopping centres are. And our once lively city centre isn’t worth a train ride either so I would go elsewhere lol! X

Meadowhall is good cause everything is in one place, shops, food, cinema etc, but it gets very busy and very hot lol so be prepared.

I suffer from sore mouths a lot, Pringles are a nightmare but delicious 😋 they also dry my mouth out. Not much you can, just have to be careful and let it take its time.

Meadow hall was good the last time I went but that was a year ago I don’t think there is any charity shops there . Sheffield town centre is quite good when I last went there a year ago . I don’t go very often only when visiting family as I’m from Cornwall so it’s a very long journey for me 😊

Ooh salt and vinegar snack a jacks really burn my mouth cant stand them all i will say Faye Nottingham is wild now used to be full of great shops but since they knocked down one shopping centre loads of the shops on the main road there are now shut down or knocked down you want to google Nottingham victoria centre there's only a few charity shops and i dont rate them i think meadowhall is good if you've got money to spend at the main shops and retailers as no charity shops there really the high streets everywhere are just becoming depleted sadly 💖

Hi Faye wash your mouth out with salt water it will cure any inflammation in your mouth ,salt water is a natural anticeptic, hope you feel better soon x

You need strepsils and bonjela plus salt water mouth wash works for me l put bonjela all over my gums and tongue inside my mouth then stuck two stepsils take two paracetamol after brushing my teeth

Is it worth trying a benedryl capsule, wouldn't think it could do any harm but I'm no doctor. I have a similar reaction when drinking chardonnay, haven't touched the stuff in years. Hope you feel better soon☺☺

The problem with your poor mouth is kind of like a burn!! Because the s & v crisps usually have citric acid in them and the ear pain could be ‘referred’ pain from your mouth. Meadowhall is awesome!! Give it a go!! There’s LOADS of food places and a big food court! ❤❤❤ xxx

@@fayejay no not really but there is a very short train ride to Sheffield city centre. Meadowhall is HUGE though. I could live there 😂 Nottingham is good also though if you prefer a city centre. Also try manuka honey lozenges for your mouth-honey is used quite a lot in burn treatment! xxx
