Glad you got and are happy with the Star Trek books, my friend! 😁😎❤💯 You are so welcome! Unsure where you found or how much you paid for _A Stitch in Time_ but it's been OOP for a long time and goes for over $100 almost everywhere in PB! Your copy looks great! I *LOVE* Eric Nylund's "Mortal Coils"

I still need to get that A Stitch In Time book. I have all the other numbered books in the DS9 series. I couldn't find a copy online for less than a million dollars so I passed on it. I keep hoping my local used bookstore will get a copy in someday. I liked Splinter Of The Minds Eye. I read it a couple of times back when it first came out. I guess you could say I'm one of the OG Star Wars EU readers, lol. Nice haul, I predict there will be many more in the future, prepare to build a book fort or have an un-hauling, the choice is yours. 🤪

Oh yes! Crosscurrent. Man, a book I look back on fondly. One of my favorites, and its sequel riptide was a ton of fun to read as well! I’m looking forward to seeing your review when it comes out!

I just finished the Stone and Sky trilogy last month! I think he wrapped it up nicely. Eric Nylund? I read a book by him many years ago, Dry Water. I still have fond memories of it. I thought the magic was very unique and delved into a method of time-traveling reminiscent of Quantum Leap (best comp I can think of). I just asked my family to give Amazon gift cards so I could buy books lol.

I'm not sure War for the Rose Throne will be your thing, but hey maybe they will. I loved the series, also read per Mike's suggestion. Very distinct and excellent first-person narration. Super quick reads too.

If I remember right I heard that was James SA Corey's first book together, and yes it was coincidentally the last EU novel. So funny. I need to get to it. I love the Expanse and Mercy of the Gods by them. Very curious what star wars looks like to them.

Your familu give you books? That's pretty amazing! I think the last time my family gave me a book was when I was 15. After I got a job, they never gave me anything.

Excited to see “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” One of my goals is to start reading Philip K Dick this year. In January I bought “Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said” and I can’t wait to read it

Wasn’t one of your goals less book buying? 😂 looks like a great haul. Hopefully you have the shelf space for them

Yes it was…but in my defense, the majority of the books here were either bought during Christmas Break or were sent by authors/publishers. But I do really need to work on this. 😂

Do you think that you will ever get to a point where you will have to slow down your book buying because you are getting more books than you can read in a month every month (maybe something like buying 1 book for every 10 books you read)? I'm asking because that is a problem I have run into. I am reading 100 books this year but about 85 of them that I am scheduled to read are books already on my shelf. The rest I plan on buying. I could honestly probably do the same thing again next year without having to buy more than like 10 books.

That’s a good idea. But I do have a buying problem and I don’t know if I can help myself. 😂
