Absolutely love both projects! I'm with Bobby - live that paint color and I think it makes a massive change to that bathroom. It was beautiful before, but now it has a real wow factor. That color plays off the navy cabinetry so well! And the kitchen tile pattern is one I love and it looks fabulous there! It's going to be so much easier to clean off kick marks!

TIP - Your sink looks polished on camera, but if it has a "grain or pattern" you can use 0000 steel wool gently to remove surface scratches and then buff it out.

Growing up with a stainless sink (my parents still have) my mom always use a steel wool pad. She said it was the easiest sink to keep clean.

Cambriea, I used to be like you, work as financial management office for 9hrs. With 2 boys 3yrs and 1yr old. Had 2 story home and cleaned deep down 2 story home on the weekends. Then got stg4 breast cancer a year later 6 tumors in my brain. After, that now I am bedridden can't walk, I get injections in my eyes, lost about 80% of hearing. Then I got Thyroid disease which is bad too😢😢. I wanted to say don't stress yourself by having cleaning issues. Don't quit but, don't over do it. My husband had said I will be with you on the cancer issues and help you with everything. He helped himself with cheating on me many many times. 😢😢😢

Well done! We all clean differently. As i have gotten older i have relaxed with cleaning. I see it as a hobby now. I used to be ocd and deep cleaned everyday It took me years to realised that i had become obsessive. I now deep clean every Saturday and tidy a little everyday and clean my kitchen daily. Love your new kitchen island! The new paint on your master bathroom made a world of difference. (I use baking soda and white vinegar to scrub the bottom of my pots and sink.)

I have a pot rack (my late husband's choice not mine), and I use Bar Keepers Friend to keep all the pots and pans sparkly clean. When people see my pots they say: "Oh, you don't use those pots?" Heck yeah, I use them, but I also clean them with Bar Keepers Friend after each use, so they stay spotlessly clean.

I recently repainted my primary bathroom too, I had to because I accidently ripped out a towel bar and didn't have any touch up paint, but I did have a gallon of paint I brought but got the wrong finish I needed eggshell but got satin. I patched the holes where the towel bar used to be and repainted the bathroom, but unlike you I'm old as dirt, so I did one wall a day until I got it all done. Then I repainted the walk-in closet because there were so many scuff marks on the walls. I too like painting, it's the going up and down the ladder that I hate.

Cambria, vacuuming lampshades is so awkward and inefficient use of time. I've been taking mine to the garage to use my husband's air compressor to blow the dust off. Be sure to air out the hose before directing toward the lampshade because there can be moisture lurking in there. I usually devote a few hours to doing all of mine the same day.

Sorry, I didn't realize that you were going to do more projects. The bathroom looks great with the paint. Makes a real impact even though it is subtle. If you are running out of things to do at home, what about a garden in the backyard? I know its really hot in Florida, just like here in Texas, but there are lots of fun things to grow, and it's a great experience for kids. Just a thought. Honestly you can go with anything. First thing is figuring out your style. Easiest way to do that is go on pintrest create a board and look up living rooms. Pin every one you like and after go in your board and see what matches. Figuring out your likes is the first step
