Slurry and manure just applies a fixed amount ( roughly 25%) of nitrogen under Precision Farming regardless of the crops needs. It doesn't apply the exact amount like liquid or solid fertilizer.

Hey Klutch you probably know this already but if your want your planter or fertilizer spreader to have more capacity put a bucket on your tractor and fill it with seed or fertilizer or lime and it acts like a extension tank for the implement. I do this when I need to seed big fields but can't afford a bigger capacity tool.

Why not take what your producing and put the crops to the hogs? Or get a mixer to put them in? I would also take your piglets from the old barn and put in the new one then after they reproduce, sell the adults.

Curious, why not just lease the spreader? Sine you only use it once a season basically, how many seasons does it cost to buy? 4-5 seasons?
