Whoever sent treats, Thank You. That was very thoughtful and kind. These hard working men with such good attitudes deserve it. Thanks, have a beautiful day. A Colorado Mountain Grandma USA 💜✌️🌞

So glad the hydrant got managed. Like you all needed another deluge of water. But on the other hand it was a good test of preparation for flooding knowledge. Bud and Sadie. Too funny. I had a Golden, actually I had two, Maximus and Budd. We named Budd, Barkin Budd. He was a talker. Sweet boys they were. I miss them, so it’s great to see your pups. They make me laugh and smile. Have a great and safe camping trip. You all deserve some relax time. So Nice of folks to send treats. Thanks to viewers. Your guys deserve rewards. It’s kinda strange to see the pavement, but it’s also great!!! God bless you all.

Sir, always with respect, I'm old - really (82) and when I walk down the road where I live, no one moves over a little - traffic is light, even when there is no traffic, trucks, and cars will not move over an inch. I don't know what is going on in people's minds, but there is so little respect. I have a home on the intercoastal canal in Boca Raton Florida. There are multi-million dollar yachts parked on the canal - there are POSTED speed limits - NO WAKE zones, yet still people go racing by creating large damaging wakes - no one cares. I am not an advocate for additional laws, but perhaps some people are simply not capable of driving. (boats, cars, trucks, whatever...) I don't know. Life is crazy. Your team are life savers. Great effort.

Watching your youtube channel from Maryland. On your recent KZbin hydrant hit and flood, you showed the recent snow mound, and you mentioned it might be there till September. As time goes by, you can mention to your patrons how much snow has melted since April 2023. You have really shown us some excellent video of the high portions of Mamith Mountain. This past winter you have basically done a gigantic commercial for life at Mamith mountain resort. Great job.😊

You don’t know how much, How bad, I wished I would have been out there to help you and be with you and your team. I am completely familiar with massive snow removal operations. Born and raised here in NW Montana. And I can run a wide variety of heavy equipment. Furthermore, I have been a supervisor in the oil fields of Eastern Montana Western, North Dakota. Besides That, I grew up and was raised in a logging family that has owned a tremendous amount of various pieces of heavy equipment for logging, AND Western Star Rigs for our log trucking-side. My family on a yearly basis keeps between 40 and 45 Western Stars, running. And my father, side of the family, and 3 of his brothers, along with him, and some of my cousins and, 2 of my brothers, they own and run a sizable road building company that builds and maintains dirt Roads for the U.S. Forest🌳 Service. Here in NW / SW / And Western Montana & Eastern Idaho. All Off-Road Building and maintaining hundreds of miles of dirt roads through the national forest and the U.S. Forest 🌳 Service.

You will be surprised how fast things melt out once it starts getting really warm, especially snow with a lot if dirt in it. The dirt actually absorbs the sunlight making it melt faster. In 2010-11 I thought we would have snow all year, but it was pretty much gone by mid August, some North facing protected chutes up high had snow till about end of September-early Oct.

I hate it when high clearance vehicles ford deep water without any consideration for a wake. I lived in an area the used to flood and waves would enter my garage. I finally just tossed a bunch of four foot dimensional lumber into the puddle so that they would hit them at speed and slow the F down.

There's gonna be flooding even without fire hydrants busting, what a mess! Glad they were able to get it under control soon. We're going to have some problems where we live in Alaska. There's been a lot of snow here too and we haven't even started breakup yet. We have sandbags and pumps ready to go at our house LOL

90 degrees in the shade in extreme northwest Iowa. Sunday April 9th was the first 50 degrees day of the year. Are there two fire stations in Mammoth? I lived in the Blue Goose Inn in 2013-14 and the area around that fire station looks completely different.

19:49 Reds meadow or out by the airport? In 1995 We had our sleds and a local guy break trail and take us to the ones in Reds, from Old Mammoth, during a dump at Midnight of all times on a goat trail. Luckily we went out on the main road/203. I still want to find that route again. Dude was a human GPS.

Planning two nights and don't wanna spend a ton of $ on a room, but last I saw the hotel was buried to the point where you almost couldn't see it.
