Ngl I am hella stoked for these changes. I've been maining a Trinary System gambit fusion rifle in PVP as of late (Arrowhead / Projection Fuse / Firmly Planted / Tap the Trigger / Range MW) and this thing is straight um insane with how sticky and stable it is, it's literally a laser pointer and just imagining it getting even better already gets my creative juices flowing.

They 100% should nerf/balance fusions by making players commit to shots. Im sick of people looking at charge times and justifying them as the 'balance' or skill gap when a very bad player can simply spam the trigger and half charge and only have a real charge time of 300 or so ms. Once a player charges for more than 100 or 200 miliseconds the shot carry forward. That way it can't be used as an infinite threat of half charges to a player using an smg, sidearm or shotgun.

@@Legoleflash Not really. It would be creating a skill gap that requires a greater sense of awareness/positioning. Currently there isn't much difference between the archetypes of fusion because you can safely precharge half or 60% of the total charge time. For example high impacts with thier 960 can easily be prefired to 500ms without firing. That only gives your oponent 0.4 of a second to kill and with a primary that is impossible. Fusions dominate close range because primary weapons dont kill quick enough to beat someone who has prefired. However, if players couldn't prefire they would have to either play aggressively or really smart as to when they shoot. Hunters could jump/icarus dash or thrusters could be used to evade without the player just cancelling their shot and charging again.

Watch out for epicurean! Only 15 zoom, doesn’t rely on under pressure, I use surplus. And it already does great. This is going to be the best precision frame fusion in my opinion. My god roll is moving target-surplus with smallbore and particle repeater.

How does this affect how you’ve treated the stability stat on fusions? We usually favor range and aim assist because of your videos - but with the under pressure nerf, maybe we will need to favor stability now as well?

I'm still going to lean into range. It's even more important than it was before since it will be the main factor in your distance. Stability can always be manually compensated for, range can't!

Trinary Systems should also feel pretty good. It can get the same killing wind, high impact reserves roll as burden of guilt and has 2 less range but 6 more stability and 2 more aim assist. Both even have the same recoil direction at 55.

The biggest problem with fusions is the pre charge. They must nerf that. If you push the charge trigger that it should be shooting regardless!! As long they dont nerf that fusions will be broken for ever. For a gun like that powerfull pre charging shouldnt be even existed in the first place. Take away the pre charge and make fusions a non pre charge weapon. Just like any other weapon is. Honestly... biggest priority to nerfing are strand, arc hunters in pvp and arc and stasis warlock in pvp. They are beyond broken. And start buffing titans since they are completely destroyed and useless in pvp.

Also my trinary with firmly and highimpact is gonna be nice (already slaps just went solo flawless with this past weekend actually). Very curious to see how how much better fusions feel overall without under pressure. Luckily I havent crutched TOO much on JUST underpressure for the most part. Mainly speaking about my Glacioclasm cuz mine has got 73 range with a nasty 49 stabil which is very high for a high impact so hopefully itll still slap cuz it feels like autopilot right now so cant wait for this honestly. Hopefully the small range nerf is substantial enough cuz even as a fusion main they just go like 1-2 meters too far somtimes like even my trinary with 49 range just absolutely MAPS somtimes and im just left scratching my head like “…..it only has 49 range and I one bursted from at least 18 meters….HOW?!?” 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉 fusion to this day STILL shock me on how far they go somtimes like wow.

Is it just me or does burden of guilt feels bad? I use controller and I was really rooting for the gun because its expensive. I used a ton of 'god' rolls on burden but strand fusion with an average roll out performed it at every turn.

it's an overall nerf. Complete nerf to distance. No fusion will hit as far, and the s-tier won't hit near as far.

All fusions need nerfed into the ground. And don’t get me started on the toaster. Nothing like landing all of your shots and the guy being able to charge a fusion and one burst through flinch.
