I feel like firmly planted encouraging crouch radar manipulation is the way to go. Instead of 2 radar manipulations on hunter, u got 3 with crouching. And thats important with stuff that doesn't fire instantly. KA is good for the times when u aren't crouching and use several hundred advanced techniques like long range aerial triple jump door, drop and ceiling baiting

Honestly fair. There was a poll I saw for the pale heart weapons, and like maybe 5% voted for this fusion including myself. I hadn't crafted it yet, but I commented that I was looking forward to testing rolls on it, and I had one guy reply "It's got PvE perks on the worst PvE archetype, not worth it" LMAO! That kinda put a damper on my mood towards it, so I was looking forward to having Lego prove him wrong for me. Lol

If you pair it with khvostov or ace of spades and a heavy from the pale heart each kill will also give extra super energy because of the weapon’s origin trait and since you’ll have 3 pale heart weapons it should give quite a bit

Balance of Power isn't a Strand exotic, in PvE it's strength is truly in Prismatic. PvE. Easy Transcendence spam. Good survivability with the clones. (And the spam of such clones) Good add clear as well. PvP Better radar manipulation then Gemini Jesters. With better treadling spam if built right in Strand. Can get quite oppressive in both forms of content. Would love to hear your opinion.

It's odd how bungie stacked this with great PVE Perks, but not many good PVP options. Despite that, though, I decided to give this thing a 2nd chance this past weekend in Iron Bannana. I was using it a longside Better Devils. And we'll I've completely done a 180 on it as I was getting kills at distances I was not expecting to hit with the perk keep away. So I'm definitely going to craft it for PVP now. Great guide, BTW 👍

I'm happy that a lot of the weapons from the pale heart are actually good since many of the weapons from newer DLC destinations haven't been the best from shadowkeep up to lightfall

Something from experimenting with some rolls, Demo + incandescent is actually a really great roll for insane grenade juicing in Warlock. Only a few special archetypes with Demo give the full ‘20%’ bump to your grenade, and the only other I have is a glaive

Thanks for this. I was looking for a good fusion to run but have had no luck. I played D1 a lot back when and loved fusions. Loved fusions in D2 about 2-3 years ago. I cam back after a 2 year hiatus for the final shape and all my fusions just seem kinda bad. Have several adept plug 1s and erintiles a few main ingredients.. nothing really ffeels right. Ill give this one a try next.

Ngl the only time i use fusions in pve is doing oversoul on crota. Cause of some weird bind stuff and crota being a big beefy boy i tend to stay far away and hipfire so i might actually be interested in a fusion that can hit good range and good recoil!

I used it a bit because I was bored with shotguns playing Trials on week 3 of this season. Felt really nice despite not even putting on PVP perks (CT MW/Smallbore/Projection Fuse/Demo/Surrounded), so I've been using it in IB when I'm not on an energy primary (instead I'd use my PVE Chill Clip Deliverance lol) The precision frame recoil pattern and comfy charge time just works for me.

I love how some of the enhanced perks give flat stat boosts (as if I needed another reason to like zen moment and headseeker lol). Sometimes, they make a big difference. I would not have expected vorpal weapon to be the play, but it makes sense + you have the added damage versus supers on top.

We're so spoiled for solar fusions. I've got two Cartesian Coordinates (UP/HIR and LFG/Vorpal), my crafted Eremite for boss damage, my crafted Royal Executioner (I know you don't like special weapons for add clear, but my Incandescent roll has carried me through so many solo dungeons), and now Axial Lacuna. Definitely need to play around with it a bit more.

As a note, my disaster of an adept Plug One:1 has liquid coils, under pressure and cornered. And it still kicks ass. Even the adept range mod only brings it to 81 range, so I'll have to check this one out for sure!

In defence of demolitionist on fusions; they’re one of four weapon types that has the benefit of giving 20% grenade energy as opposed to 10%, which is invaluable in a grenade focused build. As opposed to the 10% weapons having the grenade energy as a nice bonus for getting a kill, subtracting an enemy from the screen with a 20% weapon is more just a nice bonus to the massive chunk of grenade energy. Of the other 3 20% weapon types, I’d consider snipers and shotguns to be too range inconsistent to be viable utility weapons; you can still run them as a utility weapon but I personally just think that you’re better off leaning fully into their role as dps weapons instead of trying to cram a utility perk on top. Glaives are a very solid contender that I use pretty frequently, but fusions have the advantage of being a highly capable backup damage option, and although this benefit is a little more situational, there are some cases where you’ll be able to mow down several adds in a single shot, something that none of the other weapon types can do as easily, if at all. Not sure if this particular fusion is the best contender to fill the utility/damage hybrid niche, but there are two reasons I could see someone running it: a) it’s the only energy slot fusion that rolls with demo/surrounded, the VoD fusion can get the same roll but it’s in the kinetic slot or b) due to being craftable, it can guarantee you a demo/controlled burst roll if you haven’t gotten it to drop on loaded question, albeit on an objectively worse archetype (it is also the first fusion to roll with demo/vorpal if you have that little faith in your aim, but this is Destiny… the game aims for you)

I've really wanted to get into fusions but just haven't really found one I vibe with, so defo will be trying these rolls :D Edit 17-07-24: it took me almost a week to finally craft one and I decided to try reconstruction and controlled burst since I really like overflow/controlled on scatter signal, and so far it might actually replace my scatter signal and (once I make a pvp one) it may even replace my go-to pvp fusion. but will come back to edit this once I try it in pvp

I landed on Keep Away/Kickstart around TFS launch for PVP and it’s Soooo good. It’s actually made me pull away from my Under Pressure/Eye of the Storm Glacio. It just makes me sad that PVP isn’t anywhere near as fun as it used to be after the special ammo changes, as I would have used this thing nonstop had it come out before that.

Honestly, I got a random roll of Threat Detector/Controlled Burst, and it straight up has not left my inventory for PvP. I’ve been meaning to farm for a craftable version, but it’s such a smooth and aesthetic weapon.

Nice! That's the first roll I tried. It was okay... and then I tried Cornered / Enh Surrounded and I just am never using anything else again, haha!
