Hi Jodi!!! Wow. Great change in the garage!!! Gramma's china...bring it in & use it on "family night" once a month. Big bowl for popcorn. Platter for pizza or fried chicken or even biscuits. That's when the memories you make will bring her in again. Fridge...adjust the legs or use a piece of wood just under the front while level sits across top of fridge. That will help you level it. Shelves: yep better where they are....end of the world comment... people who don't plan ahead always say stuff like that. Roller seats...great memories there!!! Your hubs is a treasure. What's left doesn't equal a mountain anymore now it's just a few molehills. 😆. Thank you for sharing.

My daughter struggles with staying organized and keeping her house clean. I love how you have realized you struggle in that area and you are working to find ways to combat it. Your channel is so inspiring and I know you are helping others out there who have the same issue. It helps me understand my daughter a little better too. I am a very organized person and love a clean house (I may be a little OCD) and it is hard for me to understand those who are not. It seems so simple to me but watching your channel makes me more understanding. We are all different and have our strengths and weaknesses. Thanks for being open to your journey and I enjoy watching how successful you are at figuring out how to find ways to overcome it.

You are a saint. I live in a house of 75 square meters with two floors (it is a fairly common size around here) and when I lost my childhood dog, I kept his mattress, his toys and his leashes for years. I take a long time to get rid of things and only handed them over when I saw other owners and other dogs needing them. If not, I didn't and it was after going through years, I say it again, years. Every time someone made the slightest comment I would explode in fury. Your times are yours. I reiterate you are a saint and very polite, may I add; I would have answered.... outrageous things. Because that's what they deserve. Happy for your garage and the help of your husband, waiting for the next video, greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Cecilia you are so right! Our times are our own and not for anyone else to understand. I still have all of Gus’s toys, food dish out, leashes and even his food. I probably should have donated his food but I just wasn’t ready and am still not. Sending you all the hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗

This is my second video I've watched and I love love love the mindset do "projects in portions" so that it is not overwhelming but progress is made making the mental note "okay I'm taking a few days for this" so as not to overwhelm self-expectation or leave room for self-defeat. Healthy!!! I recognize my self in this you then whittle the peripheral down to complete organization, clean, sell, donate, recycle, reuse, throw out!!! Now Going around in circles has a sane ring to it!!!😎👍✝️💜🕊️🐚

That’s so funny how we keep furniture our grandparents had. I have my grandmother’s old dresser and I use it for storage of bath towels and light bulbs and other small stuff. I used to have her china dishes that I passed on to my daughter. I don’t have big gatherings anymore and the dishes just took up space. The dresser is also holding my spare tv in the spare room so I guess I will keep it. It is hard to part with things you treasure and grew up with. I feel you! You are doing a great job!👍🥰💜

In my personal experience it's best in a relationship if there's enough, let's say, common ground so that at the very least you don't drive each other crazy (especially with quirks and habits!) plus some traits and skills that complement each other. Complete opposites... would not work for me, it would lead to endless fighting 😅 By the way, I'm new to your channel and in the process of watching your decluttering playlist 🙂 I'm a minimalist and very experienced with decluttering, selling etc., also quite tidy and organized, and a bit of a prepper. I enjoy watching other people on YT declutter their homes and getting their lives back on track. It's inspiring and I'm still able to learn new tricks and insights. Anyways, hello! 👋☺

I love watching your videos as you have so much joy and laughter! For example, I was so happy with you when you got the fridge put in! Your husband is so awesome. I am not allowed to put anything in the garage unless they are seasonal, tools, yard-related, or seldom used things (coolers or suitcases). We have no basement either so it is a challenge. But he is right - our two cars are worth more to protect than my junk. LOL

Hi Jody, I'm glad your grandson is doing better. My thoughts remain with you. I am super happy that in addition to removing the excess of things that are not useful, and are stacked, little by little you can get rid of sentimental things that belonged to your grandparents and your pet. But I like even more that you give yourself permission to incorporate a new table that you like and make a place in your house for the painting of your dream house. I think that taking out and taking out nonsense to become a minimalist with 4 mugs is useless, but it is very useful to take out what is not important to give space to what is. That's why I'm very happy about your findings. I was over the moon when you were able to buy the dishwasher because you deserve it with everything you save, but now with the new freezer, I have no words. More coupons for things that need refrigeration, was my first thought. Go girl! How happy your videos make me!

I laughed at the mover's comment about being ready for the end of the world! LoL!! Yes, we couponers are!! FYI the garage floor is created a bit slanted so that water "falls" away from your door and out of the garage and NOT into the house. You can turn the legs to raise the refrigerator at the front to level it.

I told you that I should send you a video of my house so you can see what we’re doing but it’s been a pain because in the family room I haven’t been able to put things together because I need to do a yard sale of to many things I have. And down here weather hasn’t been good. Now expecting heavy rain this weekend. Just hope no tropical storm. But for sure I have to do one. OMG Jodi, first thing I noticed were those tubes that look like donuts. My kids had those too!! LOL I used to have Home Interior parties and attend them as well. Those, Tupperware, and Princess House. I still have a bunch of stuff too from all of the above. Positivity only for sure Jodi! I always try to explain this to my husband. I tell him all the time, don't work yourself up over things others are doing or saying and wasting your time and energy because you can't control the other person(s), but you can control your reaction and your feeling toward what was said/done, etc. He doesn't get it most of the time and still wastes precious time and energy worrying about all that nonsense. And he can never figure out why things don't bother me in the same way and I always tell him, I control MY reactions and I choose to not react if it's a waste of time. Now, of course if something bad happens to someone I love or my son or daughter is sick, yes, I get a little crazy but that's instincts and emotions of a mom. I'm so excited for you to have that extra fridge/freezer. I'm sure it will be very handy to have. We actually have two plus a stand-up freezer because I do freeze a lot when I make big meals of different things and also freeze veggies at the end of the summer, and things like that. I think it's also awesome to have that extra space for things like big containers of iced tea and bottles and cans of beverages not taking up space for actual food. So that's what's basically in one of the refrigerators. And of course with couponing, if I'm able to stock up on something that is an awesome deal, there's room to put it. Unfortunately, that's not been the case as least as far as food goes for a while now. I used to buy a ton of Jimmy Dean bowls, biscuits, etc but I haven't seen good deals on those types of things in over a year now, unfortunately. Awe, so glad your hubby helped you. It is always nice to have a bit of help. Jodi, that looks SOO amazing!! LOL, I laughed because I typed about the drinks before you started doing that with the bottled water. I just love the garage and so happy for you having all that room and the fridge and your hubby's help, etc. I love it all so much!! I think I'm as excited as you! It's so fun seeing things go from clutter to no clutter and all that organization!

Omg I am like your husband, I was totally thinking about moving the shelves next to the fridge Tetris style thinking how much more efficient that would be. In regards to the grandma's China collection. I have brought mine back as well and we are using it every day as plates and bowls etc. My partner has got his grandma's little bowls and we use them for sauces when eating Chinese food for example. Every time we use it I think of her and how she is part of my life even she is no longer with us. I have also recently decided to let go of a soup bowl from that collection that I never use and it felt totally fine, because I know I am using everything else. BTW. Not in a bad way- but I would clean and repaint those wooden built in shelves, but that's just me being the 'perfectionist'. I am sure once you get your garage back in order you will be happy to do more decluttering again. As I said before I love your channel and you always make me laugh. xx Greetings from France. Katerina

garages are made to slant forward so it will drain-- just raise the fridge legs so that the door will slowly close-- love the video

Hi Jodi. Garage look good. Nice of your husband to help. Sending prayers for E.J. My son is 34 years old. I remember him getting sick when he was younger. I worry about him still do.

I love watching your videos. Your laugh is contagious and always puts a smile on my face! You both made such amazing progress in the garage. The shelves look fantastic on the wall next to the fridge!

I wonder if the front 'feet' of the fridge can be made taller by unscrewing them a bit. That will make the fridge level no matter what the floor is like.

The comment that mover made was hilarious, oh that was funny! I know sometimes it cost money to get rid of things more than what we want to spend but when you don’t have the physical manpower in order to move stuff out then it is what it is. I like your new to you and table also

It's your life and your journey. I keep telling myself when I get a negative comment. Buy some days it still gets to me. Then I get angry at myself. I am 67 I don't have tell to worry about stupid comments. I like the country song by Natalie Pearson "Let'em Talk". At least it gets it off mind. Great video, good job. Have a wonderful day!

I still have a picture from Home Interiors hanging on a wall. I remember when that was the “IN” thing.

Some newer fridges have feet you can spin to raise or lower them to level them.

How cute are you and your husband? That was so sweet of him just to come home and pitch in. Donna Jean cracks me up!!🤣🤣I had never heard/seen of a Radio Racer so that was cute to see. Garage's are a pain to keep up on. Looks fantastic Jodi. Great job from the A-team.👊👊
