Nice, I just found a glitched spawn on the Layton Lows District. I nearly died from getting ran over. dropped 15 deer/elk in one spot lol. I don't feel bad with the game being so grindy.

I recently picked this game up during a steam sale and I have been enjoying it. I do hope they add new content in the future. I would love to see more firearms and bows. It'd be great to see a Flintlock or Crossbow for instance. I'd also love to see rabbit hunting with hounds implemented. Maybe the ability to hunt geese as well. It's probably the best 'realistic' hunting sim I have played. I think the ballistics modeling could be improved across the board. Take the .243 for instance. The ammo type in game says "rapid expansion". While expansion is good, a rapidly expanding bullet will increase drag and is likely to lose density meaning less penetration. From personal experience I have shot a number of whitetail deer with a .243 using 100 gr. core-lokt PSP (pointed soft point). The core-lokt is designed for controlled expansion. Rapid expansion is fine if you want to hunt varmints like woodchuck. More ammo types may address this issue. The game also doesn't seem to take into account the fragmentation that can occur when you hit something like bone. Hell even if you hit a deer in the head, unless you strike the brain, it's likely the animal will get up and run off resulting in a long drawn out trek to try and track it down. I think the way blood loss is modeled could also use some refinement.

I had a similar glitch where some fallow deer just froze, I was over the other end of a river and they just kinda sat there, not moving so I shot all the ones I could see then walked over to collect them. Turns out a few more were left alive and they were just chilling there in a glitched position, finished them off and got myself a lot of money and shotgun score. The next day I had the same glitch with Roosevelt Elk, killed at least twenty there, but not all of them were frozen. I think it’s to do with distance and when they were first rendered and how far away they were first rendered or something. I had the same glitch as the red deer one with a European bison, managed to shoot it a few times before it came dislodged. Sidenote- the position the red deer models were in when they were frozen were the same position my fallow deer were in. Interesting

Just had a kill spree on some elk, shot at least 8-10 as they did not even run, they stood their and took it, then one by one just collapsed after freezing to the spot, 2 ran off after i started to harvest, i tracked down harvested 1 then an XP Cash loop glitch but no extra cash or xp just the poppups, so ridiculous, still love the game, please fix

Was going to post this before, not sure I did or not: Really don't like the gating they've done on this game. It's singleplayer, there's not much reason to make it such a long road to get new rifles and items, I'd say that in fact it's a turn off for players. Also, there's features in theHunter Classic that would be nice to see in this game, like the taking a picture of your trophy, the extensive stats, travelling around using campsites... just a few off the top of my head. BTW, when you're that close to an animal instead of zooming in with the scope click your middle mouse button and use iron sights. :P

I hate the progression as well. Yes, I was really curious as to why you couldnt take a pic of trophies like in the last one! I had no idea about irons... lol

Hopefully this stuff, like trophy shots and more thorough stats) comes with time, and they work on progression a little more. They should remove the rifle/marksman score system completely (along with the level gating on items like lures, etc), only gate using money. Just my opinion... but they wouldn't let me into the beta so I was not able to give this kind of feedback (though I'm sure I wouldn't have been alone with these opinions).

bustemboyz 01 The game isn't finished yet. Also it's actually really likely that they will add duck/bird hunting since they already have shotguns and weapons made for small game which is strange because the are only 2 animals that would be considered small game
