Jason sweetie! Luckily I was along for the field trips & got to see most of this as you were buying it. I absolutely love the paperweights, the crystal, The whiting & Davis lariat necklace with the Egyptian glass on the ends, All of the sterling silver Native American Hopi & Navajo bracelets. The gorgeous solenoid bracelets but the astonishing thing was the necklaces from India that had all of that extensive enamel work. I have not seen too many of those in my life. Last time I saw one of them was in Paris France. Of course it was $500 then 35 years ago. I will say that I've always thought that I was an expert on sterling silver jewelry. Not a chance since I met you!!! Next to you I feel like a kindergartener. Your knowledge & explanations of a style of jewelry or a material it is made from is OUTSTANDING!!! I have learned more from you in the short time on uTube then I have in almost 70 years of my existence. You are such a beautiful man was such a incredibly lovely Soul! I just adore you. Hi Jason, Some great finds! The opal very much looks to be Ethiopian to me. Gem sellers have been marketing good color, rose cut Ethiopian opal for good prices for about 4-5 years. As a Scot who grew up close to Perth I would say the second weight is Perthshire probably Strathern, but the first’s Pontil is not standard for Perthshire, but some were made by former employees after the factory was closed, for personal pleasure and so possibly it could be one of these. The Perth museum is very helpful if you email them
