Damn a million? I looked at magnolia back in 2010 before I moved to Bridgeland, and homes around that size on a similar size lot were going for $350-$500K. Man, these prices are just getting more and more outrageous.
@everyoneisonsteroids27207 ай бұрын
Exactly it’s insane. Here in DFW Texas homes that used to be $650 3.5 years ago are now over a million at insane interest.

Psh, looks at homes where I live(Colorado). Yall get SO MUCH MORE house for the dollar there than here. Here you get like 1970's 1600ft for 320k and thats on the low low end
@t.alexdawson1186 ай бұрын
@@uncleyetti9553 You are mislead. If you move into the City where I live (Westbury, Meyerland, Richmond/Westheimer, Southside Place area) 1800sqft is $500K and up. And, these are homes built in the 60's and 70's. You only get those big homes for those prices, when you are an hour or more outside of the city. Those people living an outside the city are also paying 3.3-3.6% property tax too. While in Colorado your property taxes are extremely low.

Bro that is my perfect Area!! I’ve been looking for somewhere I can buy atleast 1.5-3.5 acres with low taxes and woods, close to the woodlands. I’ve been looking into north of cypress for about a year but I love the woodlands area but not in the woodlands. And i thank you both so much for showing me this. And the other area your showing in this video with the open land is very nice but I’m from south east Louisiana and I love having trees around. And it looks like there’s no HOA can build what you want on your property and still have a Nice community! So thanks so much for this and I would love to get with you’ll. I’m also a carpenter/Builder. So I want to build my home and sub out the other trades. So this would be perfect for me and my Kids to have the acres I want for us to play and have fun and still have close access to the woodlands. And only 35mins to and Hr away from downtown!!

We currently live in Woodforest which isn’t too far from this. As much as I love all of the amenities in Woodforest I hate how all of the houses are right on top of each other. I would love to have 1-2 acres. Not to mention property taxes in Woodforest is about 2.7% currently. Very tempting…
@miscstuff78247 ай бұрын
If you make your way down to the HEB on 1488 / Tamina, there are a number of older equestrian communities with vast majority of homes in the 2+ acre range. Not sure what your budget is, but Lake Windcrest, Sendera Lakes, Cimarron Country, Windcrest Estates (off Sendera Ranch) are the ones that come to mind. All are 2.1% or lower tax rate, with Sendera / Windcrest Estates like 1.75%-ish. Trade off is amenities for space and privacy. We have a fishing pond and equestrian paths, but no community building or pool, minimal events for example. That's it.

A VA Loan. I'm a 100% P & T disable. How does that work for the property tax exemption? Does that apply to the cost of the home or just reduces the monthly?
@JP-yl6on8 ай бұрын
Property tax is not factored into the price of the home, it’s in addition to it. So you wouldn’t have to pay it. Nothing would be reduced off the purchase price listed.

Low property taxes.. would be 1.1 or 1.3%. $18k a year is $1500 a month. I'd say $600k would be more in line for this. The markets are slipping all over the country.

Title is so misleading. Massive affordable homes! Home is $1M! Hahaha smh! 😂
@Petunia5008 ай бұрын
Yup they always do that, honestly for such a small home ( for Texas standards) these homes should be half the price especially being so far away from everything. People most likely out of state who buy these are absolute idiots because you get more for your buck if u buy a piece of land and build it from scratch. For Houston market these homes are double the price than what they should actually cost
@cubedmack8 ай бұрын
@@Petunia500 Exactly, these homes ain't worth the money! I figure you have a lot of folks from Cali moving to Texas and that's the reason the prices are so high. I like exterior of the homes but inside layout are not my style and to small. The homes itself to me are only worth about 300k-400k. I live in Maryland and you can get a bigger home with same amount of land for the same price.
