I would have thought if the tap was only temporary it would have been quicker to do it in plastic quick fit .I’m not criticising I suppose there is a reasonable explanation or maybe it’s because I’m not a plumber

yep great shout but for me i prefer to use copper but also its more rigid for the length its off the wall if that makes sence 👍
