The contest food looked great. I think I would lean towards the Garlic sauce. In my part of the USA we don't see that name of meat. We can get Greek food which looks similar. Sundays vid looks amazing. Thank you for sharing.

I had many Döner Kebab growing up in Berlin, birthplace of the Döner. Brought to Germany bei Turkish immigrants that came in the 70s. They of course had Döner prior, but where not served the way it evolved in Berlin. It used to be served in a thick Turkish bread. With vegetables and a garlic and chili sauce. Originally it was most often lamb meat. Now you find it to be more beef and chicken options. Some changed the bread it is served in. And some add fries these days.

I'm Canadian and I've definitely had a doner kabab but they're hard to find here - everyone prefers shawarma wraps. But in my travels to the UK and especially Germany, I loved the doner kabab! Not as good as a Halifax Donair though..... #tease

In Sweden this is a standard staple at any Pizzeria Kebab tallrik(plate) consisting of kebab and chips with a bit of green with sauce. you also have in pizza form with Super kebabpizza nowhere close to 2kg but we Swedes love our Kebab
