Gameplay, graphics, and enemy design are excellent but the story and character progression/interactions honestly cheapen the game quite a bit. Much props to this being their first console RPG type game (as opposed to Gatchas), I really enjoy the combat system. But I don't think the story or characters (personality and interactions) were anything to write home about...they barely left an impression outside of their lovely designs. I feel there should have been more character driven missions, also show Eve interacting more with Adam and Lily (Maybe some personal sidequests alone with them), because honestly I didn't feel anything when the emotional scenes hit cause I felt like we were running through certain parts of the story (if you catch my drift). I really hope there will be a more story driven DLC or even a prequel-sequel that shows the collapse of society. I would love to see more of these characters and this world tbh. ☺️

We will not be happy without the original outfits we paid for. My ps5 will remain offline until the censorship is removed. Ps plus discontinued. You can get away with that treatment with some gamers but not all.

And you are absolutely correct. So all this complaining and the constant "NoW UnCeNsOR tHe GaMe, Wah!" In every social media post related to Stellar Blade is just a bunch of angry shouts at a brick wall. Too late, if these people wanted to twist Sony's arm(who is really to blame here, Not Shift Up) then they shouldn't have bought the game. Yet, they did and played through it's entirety. They had their fun with it regardless of censoring and Sony got paid. That's it. Wrapped up. Sony won't pay any mind to it further if they even did to begin with.

So at the moment there's the "yay we won" crowd vs the "NO, UNCENSOR THE ORIGINALS TOO!" and the "NO THIS IS STILL CENSORED" crowds. I see this more as a compromise rather than a full reverse on their decision. Regardless, We got more outfits and a decent update so at this point i'd say the majority is walking away with something. I hope that people start pressuring Sony as soon as news of censorship start circulating and hopefully before actually buying the game or we are just gonna have a repeat of this many more times in the future.

I bought a PS5 only for Stellar blade. I play this game offline from disc. I will continue to forego all new content and play the uncensored version. Maybe later in a modded PC version.

At this point, Helldivers and Stellar Blade are GOTY contenders. They should also compete for art direction, song of the year(Cup of Liber-Tea vs Hypertube theme), costume design and level design. Overall soundtrack should go to Stellar Blade hands down. Effects design, I have to admit, Helldivers strategems have the edge. Right now, it's too close to call, but with a few more solid updates, Stellar Blade could definitely sneak the award.

As long as the price is appropriate, I’d support buying future cosmetics and effects for Eve! Do some fun collabs like a 2b skin with the robot drone, or different colored effects for the dodges and attacks, maybe like a Christmas cosplay where the attacks leave a trail of snow, and the enemies have Christmas stuff on them.

Well they didn't give us back our uncensored outfits which really sucks but makes the physical copy even more valuable and they definitely patched a lot of lewd little secrets that people were doing like the ladder jerk for certain outfits no longer show as much ching chang as it did through certain outfits while doing the ladder jerk I only know this because I was watching a KZbinr testing out the new update and he was doing the ladder jerk and they patched the ching chang visibility through a certain outfit LOL so they are definitely censoring it even more every single update

The game need a tons collaboration costumes such as : 1. 2b and a2 from automata. 2. Chun li from sf6. 3. Ada Wong from Re2 and Re4 remake. 4. Bayonetta from Bayonetta 2 and 3. 5. Various costumes from Nikke (Especially Rapi, Neon and Emma). 😳.

Not the original three outfits that were censored with the patch. But they have added two new ones that are quite similar in their design and uncensored. Depending on your (color) taste, you might like the older ones or the new ones more. It's a nice touch, but also kind of stupid that they didn't just add the original ones back. I suspect this was done in light of Shift Up's statement that it was a design decision and not censorship. This makes it even less likely that the original ones will be restored. And with all the content added, there really isn't much incentive to play the unpatched version anymore.

Where is my QoL improvement for skipping cutscenes and dialog. Currently it's next to impossible to skip them and when u do see the skip option, it skips like 2 secs of it then go back to cutscenes.

Seriesly, more games need boss challenge mode where you can fight a certain boss with your current gear or minimum/maximum presets! Especially for Souls games where boss fights are the real highlight! I've lost count of how many times I complain about not being able to fight most bosses without start a fxxking new playthrough. I mean seriously its such a simple feature yet rarely seen in tons of action games. What are those devs thinking I just don't get it...

I would like a more robust training mode that lets you practice parrying and dodging the regular enemies in the game; that's what I would love to have. Parrying and perfect dodging normal enemies has been difficult for me.

Make games that are complete on disc like this (for the gamers) to build your player base. Release DLC's like this to keep and gain more players. More importantly, keep this momentum throughout your projects. This game does have an attractive female lead however the game itself is well made and a great interesting story, mechanics and music. Still going through it uncensored from the disc, but then i'll update it for the extra cool stuff and 2nd playthrough. Can't wait for the sequal.

Damn.. I even forgot FF7-2 released, lmao. That will prob grab goty by default. Is the game even still good, though? I never see any suggested videos or information about it. Helldivers probably was going to be my top game, but they're in a fiasco atm, so we'll see. This, however, has been my go-to game and most fun time since its launch. About to beat it, but just keep roaming and exploring. The game is just so fun and beautiful. And now this nice new patch?? If these devs ever did want to drop a new dlc add-on for this, I'd most likely purchase as more content for this adventure is very welcomed. Also yea a photo mode would be nice.

Just started a new game plus hard mode last night, and holy shit the amount of health the weakest enemies have given me a bad feeling about the boss battles to come i feel like i womt enjoy it and probably wont get very far before i put the game down forever lol
