Fantastic collection. Don't know Keith's situation but, for me space to store all this stuff (especially subs) is the real issue. Love the old black ProMos and black Art stuff. I've been searching for a 2300m/am forever. All the ones I find are in rough shape. Same for a ProMos 425 in black. The PCX amps are no joke either. Still run mine too. Thanks again for the tour!

I was really partial to the black amps. However the art has really grown on me and it's so distinctly 90's I might be more nostalgic to the white amps. My damn camera wouldn't focus on anything. I got another video I shot of his Kenwood head unit collection and a couple of amps I know you will like. Right from your heyday. Luckily that was shot with an I phone. Plus I picked up a bunch of amps recently and a new phone yesterday that makes the image less shaky. Thanks for watching man.

It's an amazing collection. It started with an A200.2. I think he said that was 11 years ago. I started collecting because I wanted to do a system in 2014 with all the stuff I couldn't afford back in the day. Next thing I know I can barely get around my bedroom because there's amps and subs everywhere. It's an addiction.🤣

@@brentb5303 Yep - I did the same thing. My first "real" amp was an '89 blue stripe Autotek 7050 on an M&M Godfather 15. What is the difference betwn the M-Series amps and the AM-Series amps?
@brentb5303 Жыл бұрын
Good question, I will see what I can find out.
@nodaysback1 Жыл бұрын
@@brentb5303 If I'm understanding it correctly, the user manual indicates that AM is for *Adaptive Mosfet,* a feature of the switching power supply which modifies the power supply should the amp sense a load less than 2 Ohms, but greater than 1.5 Ohms, below which the current/thermal protection kicks in and powers down the amp. The M series manual does not say what the M stands for.. I assume it would be a Mosfet switching power supply without the feature that adapts to loads < 2 but >1.5 Ohms.
@brentb5303 Жыл бұрын
@@nodaysback1 I bet that is it. They referred to the power supply circuitry on the Art series as AM II and the Art .2 as AM III. They even used the term for the Power Series and called it AM IV circuitry protection. I never noticed any of that. Thanks for the information man. I always wondered if they didn't just change the designation to appear as if they were updating the series. They didn't do a very good job marketing the updates. I had heard that the difference between the A and A.2 was an updated power supply section but that is all I had heard.

Everything you see here was earned one hour at a time. 3) He has salvaged so many from being thrown out or destroyed. You wouldn’t believe how some of these amps looked when he got them. He spends the time to clean them up and will spend the money to have them fixed bringing them back to operational status. 4) Thanks for watching

What is the story with the Lanzar being included in a PPI collection?

The Plus series was made by Precision Power for Lanzar in 1990. There were only 2 amps. The 100 & 200. Since the time he did this video I’ve acquired the 200 also. On a side note the Plus series were the only amplifiers PPI built back in the day that were .5ohm stable.
