Tucker is a free agent after 2025 right? So unless it's a NBA style "sign and trade" deal, I'm out on a huge amount heading to Houston to have Kyle Tucker for one season

The problem with an Alec Balm trade is that he got benched in the playoffs and other GM's see that. That will steer a lot of them off from giving up anything that would be worth it to trade him. If you are a team like the Mariners and you need a third baseman why would you give up one of your best pitchers for someone that got benched in the playoffs? You wouldn't do that especially since you have playoff aspirations for yourself. I would still trade on it for whatever we could get for him because I don't think he is a great player, but is just a good player and his value will never be as high as it is right now. Also if we trade our third best picture for Kyle Tucker then that leaves a gaping hole in our starting rotation and I don't know how we would fill it.

I don't care what people say y'all are great and sure, some things can see kind of out there, (kind of like this) but i think yall just have an open mind and want the Phills to win. Go phills!!!

as much as I understand the hate/disgruntled sentiments towards DD, I do appreciate his willingness to protect the farm. I agree that the Phillies NEED to get better, no denying that, but with our OF struggles, protecting Crawford isn't a bad move at all. We do still have enough trade capital to make something happen. I don't know if Tucker is that player (just since he's a 1 year rental, barring no contract offer if we traded for him). Offering Bohm, Suarez (or any SP), plus prospects for a potential 1 year rental is a little much. Not to mention the corner outfield log-jam with Casty, Wilson, Marsh, Schwarber (in case of emergencies), De La Cruz, etc. Not saying I hate Tucker - just don't know if the asking price for a potential 1 year rental is worth it.

It’s disappointing that it’s feels like we getting left behind and seeing that Dave talks like he content. I get that he done things in the past but what he doing is discouraging

Another thing am I crazy to think that one of either Johan Rojas or Brandon Marsh would actually have some decent trade value? I think Johan Rojas would have decent trade value because he's young and still improving and because of his defense capabilities, but I think Brandon Marshall has trade value because he actually hit pretty well last year and would instantly give a team some power and a good amount of rbi potential as well. I'm not saying that either one of them should be the forefront of a package, but they can definitely be an add-on to get something valuable.

Have zero confidence in Dombrowski after basically running it back last year, and so far, sitting by as players keep getting picked up by other teams.
@CrazyLG7223 күн бұрын
Doubt it. If anything they'll upgrade with a Center fielder soon and have Marsh and Wilson platoon in Left field

STOP MAKING CLICKBAIT! This team ain’t giving up what Tucker will cost they’re running it back with the same team! I said the minute Dombroski and Topper did that bogus ass exit interview this organization had no intention of adding anything significant to this roster. They literally told us as much. Crochet goes for 4 prospects, Evolodi off the board, and they ain’t trading for a Kyle Tucker. They’ll attempt to sell the fanbase on Rojas or Marsh in CF & Weston Wilson/Cody Clemens in LF. And their prized free agent was a broken reliever who pitched 15 times in 2024. 3rd place in NL East @ Best & 6th place in the NL at best.

Dang way to have an open mind. If we're going off what dombrowski said, we're gonna get a 5th starter, an outfielder and some bullpen help. I'd take that improvement to the outfield, and that help in the pen

This is pipe dreams. I 100% guarantee you we dont get him. Not sure what the Phillies will do but I bet Bohm is on our roster come opening day. Much of your vids have been fan hopes that's about it. Just regurgitation of rumors.

Gotta get Tucker

To be honest the the Yankees who are in on Tucker have a much better package then the Phils. Luis Gil and Clark Schmidt, Jason Dominguez, Spencer Jones, and Everson Pereira. GIL himself is worth more than any package the Phils could put together. I don't wanna hear Astros don't wanna do business with them either. Tucker is walking in another year Houston will take best offer. And trust me I want the Phils to improve bc I hate the Mets but can't see Tucker happening for them.

DD biggest trade as far as working out has been Sosa and Sanchez 😅😅😅. Absolutely abysmal.
@rupertpupkin266023 күн бұрын
I love Kyle Tucker however not at the expense of Christopher Sanchez. According to MLB trade machine it shouldn't even cost that much however if we gotta overpay then this is the trade id do... Astros Get- Staryln Caba, Mick Abel, Brandon Marsh & Gabriel Rincones Phillies Get- Kyle Tucker & Ryan Pressley I don't think Bohm gets traded esp after hearing what Rob Thompson said to the media. Just kinda odd that he'd come out and go "were not trading him, i told him that on the phone". Starlyn Caba will basically be the future infielder The Astros need and Brandon Marsh can slide in right where Kyle Tucker was playing in the OF.
@julianc686323 күн бұрын
Wtf would they trade Sanchez lol😅😅 especially that contract. He'll no. I dont think they have any clue what there doing in FO. These vibes guys Stubbs Marsh etc should have been gone. Walker instead of just cutting this bum there going to keep him. Marsh for Ohoppe well having Ohoppe back would be nice. Joke

You are both clickbait bafoons that just want stars. Go be dodger fans. How many contracts do you want to take on??? Already got harper, jt , nola, wheeler, schwarber, castellanos, and turner. Why not trust the proccess until the deadline and go from there?? Dumping homegrown talent like bohm or sanchez (who im not even to keen on) would be asanine. Move out west please 🙄
