Great video that was a spectacular water fall and what a fantastic view from the top with that Loch. That was one hard track especially with those wet feet glads you back back safely to the crib. That meal you cooked looked really good just like on the picture I bet you was ready for that after that hard slog.

So glad you made it up to beautiful Loch Skeen. I was up there last November & was so lucky to have fabulous weather for it. Yep, that first glimpse off it knocks ya socks off. Bit confused as to why you went across the river, didn’t know that the circular walk crosses the water…but it wouldn’t be the same if you didn’t get lost/lose the trail/have some kind of calamity 😂

You should start using your walking staff Adam , not the same as OAP walking stick . The walking staff is too test the territory in front of your next step . That way you won’t be showing us a rerun of the puddle scene in the Vicar of Dibley

snugpak military poncho is a good one. got proper arms, sleeves and decent hood about 50 quid. just used mine in the Gower camping on coast during storm Agnus kept me dry as a bone! covered my rucksack as well. used a bit of para cord round the waist to stop it flipping about.

Well Adam that was rather blustery and wet to begin with man 🤦🏻‍♂️. But anyway you got through it got back to the crib ok thank goodness I bet you was glad to get in the warmth of the car n get those squelchy socks n boots off. Some cracking views again that waterfall boy that was crazy some strength to that flow. So You made it back to moffat then. Unfortunately this time of year Loch skeen is in spate so the better way to cross is to go round then up the right side. Also, the path is easy to see, not sure how you went so badly wrong. You crossed the same river multiple times so you must have been zigzagging
