As you can see when deermeatfordinner offered him the fish he was happy and it was the first word that came to his mind. I understand that you are interpreting our traditional word/slang "bumboclaat" or "bloodclaat" as blood clot. I understand that Jamaican native language patois(patwa) is basically broken down English but take my advise, not every word spoken in our language you should apply the official English definition to. We have a series of underground meanings that aren't official and are just tradition by now.
