It's so weird that your videos are not showing up in my feed for a long time even though I am still subscribed and have "all" clicked. This YT algorithm is crazy sometimes. ❤

My neighbor has a passion fruit vine growing around his oak tree. For years, I couldn’t figure out where the fruit was coming from. I just figured it out with this video. Thanks!!

Hi, just want to let you know the cover crop seeds I purchased from you are doing exceptionally well! So happy I used them to cover a raised bed that I didn’t want to use over the hot summer. Learning all the time, thanks.

I LOVE Passionfruit! I grow both as I can’t get enough. Lol

Its delicious! Provided I had more room I wouldn't be opposed to both either. Just so productive for one plant!

I had a yellow passion fruit plant that grew like crazy, so much that it broke the trellis that I had and it was a headache to keep under control. It only produced like 3 passion fruits, I was wondering why it flowered so much but didn’t produce any fruit. I got rid of it because I didn’t know what was wrong with it. Now I know that it needs another plant to cross pollinate and next time I will try the purple one because I have very little space for two passion fruit plants. Anyway I put up another trellis and planted a Concord grape vine on one side and a Marquis grape vine on the other side and they produce tons of grapes and my kids love them. And it is so much easier to maintain. Thanks for your videos, I always learn so much, you are a wealth of knowledge.

Oh, I'm glad you figured it out! Grapes are a great one to trellis.

The purple passion fruit has been the star of our garden too! I have it growing up the front yard tree. It is the perfect fruit to do that with, because when the fruit is ripe, it drops from the vine. It is like an Easter Egg hunt everyday😄. Thank you for your videos! And I hope to get your book soon😊 Florida, Zone 10

Pole beans produce more in the long run than bush beans. I only use bush beans to use a leftover space in between other plantings.

Would you mide sharing which species of passion fruit you are growing? We looked online and there are many. We are in Zone 7a Oklahoma. Incarnate is what out Master Gardeners are recommending, but for the flowers.

Passiflora edulis, they are lots of varieties out there for sure but not all are edible

I didn’t want to use chemicals in my garden but when it comes to those aphids neem oil is amazing . Also for white flys. It is a natural way to reap what you sow 😊

I just bought a blue passion fruit (Passiflora caerulea), I didn’t know about the cross pollination issue. Do you know if the blue one can fruit on it’s own or do I need two? I couldn’t find the answer online.
@TheUrbanHarvest4 ай бұрын
Im not familiar with that one, Im sorry! Perhaps the nursery where you purchased it would have experiential knowledge on it.
