Join me as I attend the 2023 Roadkill Nights event sponsored by Dodge and Motortrend. I take you through each of the grudge racer's builds and show you all of the action as they battle it out on Woodward Avenue in Pontiac Michigan. I also give you a look at some of the things that will be offered by Direct Connection and I even get to drag race a TRX on the street with a pro driver from Radford Racing. I lived in Royal Oak, MI in the late 60's and early 70's 3 miles from Woodward. I had my '69 SS 396 Camaro out there no less than 5 nights a week racing on Woodward. I love the fact that street racing is still alive and well on "The Ave". I now live on the opposite side of the country but still build and run stout street cars like my '66 Buick GS Stage 2. You should check out the new package (cam, rods, pistons, and intake) from Steve Morris Engines. I doubt there is a warranty but 1067hp on pump gas and over 1600 on E85

I got to say I think throttle is going to be the team to beat this year everybody I mean knows what they're doing and are experienced and made Halle machines but I've been watching throttle and these guys are unlike any team out there. Watched it live on the MotorTrend YT page and they cut to a commercial when the Hurricane Challenger staged. It's a prototype but wanted to see that one. Don't know why there was no KZbin build on it from Direct Connection, it would have been interesting to watch it's build.

I am loyal to a brand, regardless of “what’s the fastest” at the track. Racerx has been mopar for a long time and swapped to a TT mustang in the face of a lot of his subscribers. Then ordered a dark horse, then realized ford just fks around. And now he’s on the 170 bandwagon. BUT ITS ALL GOOD!!!! 👍👍👍

No. I’ll be the first to admit that ford will spank a mopar at least on the gt500 redeye level UNLESS the redeye has 309 gearing with the backseats taken out, then it’s the opposite and you’ve spent a lot less. Coyote feeds top end and that’s where mopar is weak. I feel like racerx kinda abandoned mopar and forgot his roots and mopar is where it’s at. I hope he realizes that now.
