I would actually be super interested in that minerva!! Hope it comes up at a good price!! Nice finds Also, Oris was never made by rolex and they still exist today. A simple way to tell is if they have an oyster case or they have a Rolex Coronet on the Crown. Thats wear not patina on the oris.

Sounds good, how much is usd do you think would be fair on the Minerva? I haven’t even looked it up Also I am aware of that. Just some solar watches used Rolex movements. Solar was a private label for Canadian big box store eatons

@@vintagesterlingfinds Yes, Rolex made watches for some of the upmarket stores in the US as well. It's worth while reading up on their detailed history so you don't accidentally sell a $10,000 watch for $50.

@@johnemerson5383 thanks I have heard about these watches. They even made ladies watches for eatons. They generally bring the same money as a Tudor. My dream is to find a Rolex

The watch Miles is from Germany. 50-60 s I think. See a few of them on Etsy/Ebay

@@vintagesterlingfinds I seen in the local antique shops a German made pocketwatch looking thing like what you showed that said Miles with the wheel on the side, the tag on it said it was for use on a map , you roll the wheel and it calculates the miles or something im guessing
