I am afraid it isn't likely, Even amazing players like Mamedyarov or Richard Rapport struggle to get into super GMs Tournaments regularly. That's way you see how frantic alireza and So was getting to enter the candidates. It's not only because they want to face the World Champion but because they know that once they get out of the spotlight, their professional career will really struggle. Super GM Tournaments are really unfair. Anyway she is doing amazingly, hope the rest of the tournment goes well for her.

@@tristan7720 True but she tricked him and won back all the advantage in the same endgame, it seemed holdable at some point, but practically speaking she didn’t make it easy for him at all. Objectively hyper accurate playing is not all that makes a game brilliant. There were lot of naysers who were complaining why she's playing here despite being lower rated comparatively. The Women's World Champion playing at Tata Steel is way more interesting than having just another 2700 player in the rooster. And she proved that not only she can hang around with the best in the world, she can also defeat them. This win is easily going to be the story of the tournament (Alireza was on his own little unbeaten streak recently) unless Ju Wenjun one up this one herself.
@jougetsu

place 11/14 , 2 draws, 2 losses, 1 win. and she has won once, because alireza tried to get rid of her quickly (same mistake nepo did). if he plays solid, she loses 9 times out of 10 against him. i'd love to see more female players in open tournaments, but really, you're stupid for claiming that top female players are as strong as top male players - are you fishing for likes or do you think any woman will respect you for your stupid opinion?

Bro you literally saying it's only interesting to have her here because she's a woman. Her play is pretty dry and not very risky, if you only look at chess there are much more interesting players than her which are also wayy better than her. Yes she beat Ali but honest who tf above 2500 would not win this after he did a literal backwards double blunder. She also almost lost the winning advantage in the endgame. Chill out bro she is only 2550 and she only gets the support and has that sucess in chess because she's a woman and doesn't play in open chess but women's chess. PS: ik It's somehow an unpopular opinion but it's just simply true
@Surreal_Bread
@Surreal_Bread 5 ай бұрын
@@tristan7720 well the simple fact that she is a woman is interesting because there are so few at the super grandmaster level. And yes she has a solid style but that doesn't mean it isn't interesting, maybe it means you don't understand the subtle positional concepts at hand, but following the way you see things even magnus has quite a boring style, get to an endgame and try to squeeze. And lastly to beat a top 5 player in the game you have to play a pretty perfect game with very very little room for mistakes, so better celebrate that she did that than being salty because you're an incel.

It's clear that she did not calculate that line. I don't think it's possible for any human player to do so. But having said that, Re5 to force g6 shows really good endgame technique and a very intuitive feel for the position. Maybe she didn't see that exact line, but I am sure she realized that it is better for the pawn to be on g6 rather than g7 (it's an easier target for White's king if it ever penetrates into Black's position).
