Between following your journey and authors like Brandon Sanderson who are super open about their process and progress on books (secret projects excluded of course) it's really awesome to get this look into the behind the scenes of being an author. Personally it's something that I have never considered as a career path, but as a lifelong lover of the medium, it's been super insightful to get this peek behind the curtains. The whiteboard concept works well - just watched the genre video before this one and enjoyed it :) An idea is not just explain the plot of a book or series, but maybe talk about inspirations, the author's background, and maybe even peek behind the scenes and talk about why an author wrote something the way they did (being an author yourself with insight into author-y techniques)

I’m actually working on getting an agents as well right now. I recently published my first novel through a pretty small publishing house and while it was an interesting experience and a good way to get my foot in the door, it definitely didn’t turn out the way I was wanting. I’m hoping that having an agent will set me up for better success in the future.
