Thanks for sharing this video Mr Wayne. I so much appreciate it. 🙏🙏🙏 I was here for the taping of this MB in Gulf City. 1984. I been to many MB taping before, but this crowd was the hugest I ever saw. There was about 3,000 people there. My brother-in-law was a contestant in this Grand Final. I must say that Janet Naipaul got the biggest round of applause after her beautiful vibrant dance. Her presentation was impeccable, but sadly that part is not in this video. She was the favorite to win. The winner tho, was Mr Krishen Ramsook. I must Mr Tony the tabla player was exceptional!!

I have been looking for that Janet Naipaul dance performance for 30 years!!!!!! I was just 11 and had the BIGGEST crush on her! That dance move at 45:45 was a heart stopper!!!! such an incredible and talented dancer!!!!! Amazing Janet ❤️❤️❤️❤️
