for exercises like the playing all of the major triads in the beginning, is there a specific fingering that a novice player should use? or should I just use whichever fingering is most comfortable for me? thanks

Something just came to me at about 10:15 in the video: Triad inversions move UP the keyboard, while 7th chord inversions move DOWN. It's been a while since I've touched a keyboard, so I hope I remembered that correctly.

First time viewing this channel. I love the hands on approach. I've been practicing inversions around the circle of fourths, but didn't think of the metronime and music. That's been my problem, I haven't been musicating my practices. Loved the scales exercise.
