The American Bowie Knife is an icon of the knife world. Its effective as a utilitarian and combat tool is beyond a doubt. In this video we will cover one of its simplest and most effective techniques - the Bowie SNAPCUT! Detailed biomechanics and tactical setups are included in this video. Enjoy!

As a re-enactor for the 1770's I find these videos very educational in portraying a 1700's militiaman. Thank you for another great video.

I never knew there was so much to knife 🔪 fighting. Are there any books and videos you recommend?

Hey man, just browsing through your videos some more, ready to learn. I came across the Entrek Ranger mk II knife the other day and wanted to share. On the small side at a 9" blade, couldn't help but ponder its balance and back cut capabilities. Cheers.

AWESOME video, once again! Love how you go in depth on all the intricacies of the techniques: the anatomy, the kinesiology, the history, ect... Keep up what you're doing! ⚡ 😑 ⚔️ 🙏🏽

Hi Rolando... Thanks for great vids on these bowieknife fight technics... Ive been a knifecollector for a while.. But newly found my interest for bowieknifes and just aquired myself two of em. Planning to collect more of em both high end an budget knifes... I find your tutorials on how to wield these knifes very intersting.. But like someone else mentioned, I also to miss a little more detailed explaination around your techniques.. Keep on you good work.. And thanks... Greetings from Norway..

Very confusing, the actual movement of the knife and hand /arm is not really explained,, 🤔

No offense. Your images are blurry. Your just showing us how fast you are. Not. Where our wrist/hand/blade should be, inch by inch. From our guard posture, to attack, and back to guard. Like on a clock sort of speak. Minute by minute, hand/blade positions. Like I said. No offense. You just show us the beginning and the end. And talk how you got there. Break down the technique, visually better. Thanks.

Thank you for the feedback! I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and frankly still learning to make those clearer! Once I have my membership account up, I will have exclusive content/swag for members, which will include the instructional content you are looking for. 🙏🏽

@@RolandoEstocadaI’m really looking forward to this new content. I’m recently enamored with learning Bowie combative’s and I’m finding it so difficult to find solid instruction in a video format. Can you at this time suggest anything video, written, or other that I can get started with? Also do you plan on having a patreon style account which you will have a more detailed or personal teaching format? Thank you for the great content thus far.
